摘要： A foamable thermoplastic molding composition comprising:a) an aromatic polycarbonate, andb) 0.1 to 5% by weight of a hydrate of an inorganic salt, is disclosed. The salt is inert to the polycarbonate and is capable of releasing its water of hydration only at a temperature above 100.degree. C.The composition which may optionally further contain c) up to 10% by weight of a nucleating agent, and d) up to 30% by weight of glass fibers is characterized by its good pore structure.
