摘要： A simulated vehicle instrumentation and control apparatus includes sound effects generating arrangements, indicators and displays that are controlled to simulate realistic driving conditions in response to the operation of various vehicle controls by the operator of the simulated vehicle apparatus. The vehicle controls include a steering wheel, an accelerator pedal, a brake pedal, a transmission gear shift selector, and an ignition switch. In various specific embodiments, additional controls are provided including siren and light controls. The turning of an ignition key in the ignition switch to a predetermined position initiates operation of the simulated vehicle apparatus. Operation of the accelerator pedal conditions the simulated vehicle apparatus to generate simulated vehicle engine sound effects in response to subsequent operation of the transmission gear shift selector. Operation of the brake pedal conditions the vehicle apparatus to generate simulated tire and brake squealing for a predetermined time interval. Turning of the steering wheel to either the left or right beyond predetermined limits conditions the vehicle apparatus to generate an out-of-control squealing effect for a predetermined time interval. In specific arrangements various other displays and indicators are provided that are actuated in response to operation of the controls.

摘要： A toy gun or similar device usable with reflective target apparatus utilizes a pulsed light source and a self-contained light detector for detecting light reflected from the target apparatus back to the light detector. The gun includes an audible indicator responsive to the light detector for indicating each time a "hit" is made on the target apparatus, and also includes a resettable counter that provides an indication of the total number of such "hits" achieved in a given time period. The invention also provides a target having a pulsed light source to energize or actuate the light detector.

The animated character includes an ejector, an object such as a ball positioned in the ejector, a mechanical counter that is incremented by actuation of the manual actuator, and a release mechanism responsive to the mechanical counter to activate the ejector and thereby cause the ejector to eject the object when the counter is incremented to a sufficient number. A player of the game generates a random integer by spinning the spinner and actuates the manual actuator a number of times corresponding to the random integer.

摘要： A jump rope which produces bubbles as it is rotated. A hollow liquid containing handle is located at each end of the jump rope. A bubble diffusor is positioned near each handle. A flexible liquid transporting tube connects each handle with its bubble diffusor. Each bubble diffusor includes coaxial tubes having an annular space between the tubes. Aligned openings are formed in the inner and outer coaxial tubes. The liquid bubble producing solution moves from the handles to the annular space between the tubes of the diffusor as the rope is rotated during jumping. The liquid bubble producing liquid spreads across the openings. Air passing through the openings in the coaxial tubes produces bubbles.

摘要： An elevator for a toy playset has a drum wound cable attached to a carrier for toy figures. The carrier includes an elongated, open bottomed shell into which is secured a folded piece of high density foam material, such as foam polyethylene. Compressed together opposed faces of the material form a slit along the length of the open bottom of the shell. Hands of a toy figure are inserted into the slit and retained by the compressed foam as the figure is transported by winding and unwinding the elevator drum.

摘要： A sounding toy for producing musical tones and other sounds includes a reciprocating element which may be repetitively struck by the user in order to produce the sounds. The sounding toy includes a vertically reciprocating cylindrical member which moves within an aperture in the housing in a generally vertical direction. The travel of the cylindrical member is defined by the longitudinal axis of a piston secured to the interior of the housing. A deformable, hollow engagement member is mounted on the top of the cylindrical member and allows for repeated contact by the hand or a hand-held tool of the user. A sound producing mechanism, such as a whistle, is mounted or formed integrally on the cylindrical member in fluid communication with the deformable engagement member. A downward vertical force on the engagement member will cause compression or deformation thereof and force air or other fluid through the whistle moving the cylindrical member downwardly within the housing over the piston. Air leakage between the piston and the internal diameter of the cylindrical member permits several engagements of the engagement member by the user to move the cylindrical element downwardly its full length of travel. In the preferred embodiment, a second, similar assembly is pivotally connected to the first cylindrical member by a centrally pivotal lever mounted within the housing. The lever arrangement connects the two cylindrical portions such that movement of one cylindrical member into the housing causes an opposite movement of a second cylindrical member outwardly relative to the housing.

The spring motor rotates the propeller and the winding handle relative to the fuselage of the plane body. When the motor is wound and released, the body of the plane may be supported to simulate flight or alternatively, the handle may be supported to produce various stunts.

摘要： A toy vehicle is disclosed including a vehicle body or housing including a front projectile receiving channel and a separate top projectile exit channel. The housing includes a wheel actuated impeller for carrying the projectile from the front projectile receiving channel to the top projectile exit channel. An impeller stop member is provided to temporarily stop the flexible impeller to bias the impeller until sufficient biasing force is accumulated in the impeller to snap the impeller beyond the stop member and strike the projectile with the snapping force of the impeller to propel the projectile out of the projectile exit channel and thereby out of the toy vehicle.

摘要： A toy motor vehicle includes a body supported by wheels for rolling movement over a supporting surface. The body is provided with a first compartment having a transparent wall segment and a second compartment in communication therewith having opaque walls. A plurality of balls representing gallons of fuel are adapted to be contained in the respective compartments and means is provided for moving the balls from the first compartment into the second compartment as the toy vehicle is moved around, thus simulating the using up and eventually running out of gas when all the balls are moved out of view into the second, opaque-walled compartment. A gas pump element is detachably connectable with the vehicle and includes a rotating flexible shaft which is adapted to drive a mechanism in the vehicle for returning the fuel elements or balls from the opaque compartment back into the first compartment to simulate refueling of the vehicle at a gas pump. Each time a ball is returned into the first compartment a bell is rung to simulate the action of a gas pump.
