Abstract: In one embodiment, a medical image processing apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to: receive an ultrasonic image generated from a signal that is acquired by a detector of an ultrasonic catheter inserted into an object's body; receive an X-ray image depicting the detector and an imaging target that is at least one of a medical device inserted into the object's body and a region of interest inside the object's body; detect a position of the detector depicted in the X-ray image and a position of the imaging target depicted in at least one of the ultrasonic image and the X-ray image; and uses respective positions of the detector and the imaging target to calculate moving support information for moving the ultrasonic catheter in a manner such that the imaging target is included within a field of view “FOV” of the detector or moved towards the center of the FOV.

Abstract: A medical image processing apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry obtains activity position data related to positions of activity regions that bring a site of an examined subject into an activity and a blood vessel image rendering a three-dimensional blood vessel related to the activity regions. The processing circuitry performs a registration between the activity position data and the blood vessel image. The processing circuitry calculates a positional relationship between at least one of the activity regions and the blood vessel, on the basis of a result of the registration. On the basis of the positional relationship, the processing circuitry causes a display to display information about positioning a device capable of receiving, within the blood vessel of the examined subject, electrical signals from the activity regions.

Abstract: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment includes a processor. The processor sequentially acquires ultrasonic image data generated from a signal collected from a detector of an ultrasonic catheter that is inserted into a body of a subject. The processor collects a plurality of pieces of X-ray image data acquired from a plurality of directions and detects the ultrasonic catheter and a treatment device on the X-ray image data. The processor calculates coordinates indicating a current position of the treatment device on the X-ray image data based on information about a user operation for the ultrasonic catheter received from a robot catheter system, the treatment device detected on the ultrasonic image data, and a result of detection by the detector. The processor displays a display image that is obtained by superimposing positional information including the coordinates indicating the current position of the treatment device onto the X-ray image data.
