    Abstract: In certain embodiments of the present disclosure, a cabinet is provided. The cabinet includes a plurality of drawer slide receiving modules and a plurality of hanging drawer slides, each hanging drawer slide coupled to one of the plurality of drawer slide receiving modules, and each hanging drawer slide includes a plurality of hooks of a first type. At least one of the hanging drawer slides is configured to be withdrawn from the cabinet laterally along a longest axis of the hanging drawer slide. The plurality of drawer slide receiving modules are configured to be removably coupled to the cabinet in a plurality of different configurations. Methods and configuration systems are also provided.

    Abstract: A single-item-access (SIA) sub-drawer is disclosed that has a body with a compartment and a lid that is selectably securable in a closed position that encloses the compartment. The SIA sub-drawer includes a lid latch configured to secure and selectably release the lid and a sub-drawer latch configured to engage and selectably release a retention hook to secure the SIA sub-drawer to a dispensing cabinet. The SIA sub-drawer also includes a processor configured to cause the lid latch to release the lid upon receipt of a lid release signal and to cause the sub-drawer latch to release the retention hook upon receipt of a sub-drawer release signal.

    Abstract: A dispensing cabinet may include a security panel and a plunger having a disengaged position and an engaged position. The plunger may be secured in the disengaged position by the security panel. The security panel may be released in order to transition the plunger from the disengaged position to the engaged position. The dispensing cabinet may further include a lever configured to interface with the plunger and one or more latch assemblies. The lever may shift upwards in response to the plunger being transitioned from the disengaged position to the engaged position. An upward motion of the lever may release the one or more latch assemblies by rotating, to a limit, a cam bracket included in each of the one or more latch assemblies. The dispensing cabinet may be unlocked by the release of the one or more latch assemblies.

A method includes providing an interactive storage device for attaching to a bin, and outputting, via an audiovisual element, a visual representation of a local inventory of the bin, receiving a user input, determining a change to the local inventory according to the user input, updating the local inventory in a non-volatile data store according to the change, synchronizing the local inventory with one or more nodes via a communication interface, and receiving, from the one or more nodes via the communication interface, periodic updates for a local cache comprising locations and inventories of one or more remote bins.

    Abstract: A dispensing system has a cartridge with a body having a plurality of bins and a plurality of attached lids that cover the respective bins when the lids are closed. The body has an external connector and the lids are opened by receipt of a command signal through the connector. The system also includes a cabinet with a docking location configured to accept a cartridge. The cabinet has a docking connector that connects to the cartridge connector when the cartridge is placed on the docking location. The cabinet also has a controller that sends the command signal through the docking connector to the cartridge to open one or more of the lids.

    Abstract: A drawer assembly is described that includes one or more mini-drawer assemblies. A mini-drawer assembly comprises a sliding tab along a rear-to-front axis, a release mechanism coupled to the sliding tab, and a body having a body bottom coupled from the body bottom to the sliding tab. The body may slide over the sliding tab. The mini-drawer assembly may include a plurality of compartments in the body and a plurality of lids that are hingedly coupled to the compartments. Each lid may have a respective fastening element. A plurality of latches may couple to the body such that each latch is coupled to a corresponding compartment. The latch may hold the respective fastening element of the lid. When the body is pulled out along the rear-to-front axis, the release mechanism may engage with the latch to release the respective fastening element and to unlatch the lid of the compartment.

    Abstract: A door assembly is described. The door assembly includes a door structure that is mounted over an opening of an enclosure. The door structure includes a body that includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The first surface may face an inside of the enclosure when the door structure is closed. The door structure includes a number of finger bracket structures mounted on the first surface. Each one of the finger bracket structures includes a bracket and one or more finger gaskets coupled to the bracket. The finger gaskets of the finger bracket structures may contact enclosure brackets mounted around an edge of the opening of the enclosure when the door structure is closed. A combination of the finger gaskets in contact with enclosure brackets may create an electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield at the edge of the opening of the enclosure.
