Abstract: Provided are embodiments including a system for operating an augmented reality model-based fire extinguisher training platform. The system includes a computation engine configured to receive one or more inputs and generate a simulation based on the one or more inputs, and a fire extinguisher configured to communicate with the computation engine, wherein the fire extinguisher includes a plurality of sensors to provide feedback to the computation engine. The system also includes a display device that is operably coupled to the computation engine and is configured to display the generated simulation from the computation engine, and wherein the computation engine is configured to perform analytics to generate a recommendation for a design of the fire extinguisher based at least in part on the feedback from fire extinguisher. Also provided are embodiments that include a method for operating an augmented reality model-based fire extinguisher training platform.

Abstract: A nozzle assembly for a fire suppression system is disclosed, which includes a body having an inlet end for receiving a flow of fire extinguishing agent from the fire suppression system at an inlet pressure, a nozzle portion extending from the body and having an interior cavity defining a central axis, wherein a plurality of exit orifices are formed in an outer wall of the nozzle portion, in communication with the interior cavity, for vectoring the flow of fire extinguishing agent exiting therefrom and to reduce a noise level of the nozzle assembly, and at least one perforated filter member positioned upstream from the exit orifices in the nozzle portion, for reducing the inlet pressure of the fire extinguishing agent in furtherance of noise level reduction.

For each of the tank units there is: a second monitoring switch or sensor (260, 280, 290); and a second monitoring unit (340) coupled to said second monitoring switch or sensor and configured to communicate with the remote monitoring location.

Abstract: An integrated fire suppression system includes a plurality of fire detection systems. Each of the fire detection systems is individually addressable. A control system is communicatively coupled to each of the fire detection systems. A plurality of building systems is communicatively connected to the control system. The plurality of building systems includes at least one of a fire suppression system, an alarm system, a heating ventilation and cooling (HVAC) system, a building power supply system, and a building security system. The control system is configured to provide a localized response to a fire detection by at least one fire detection system in the plurality of fire detection systems, the localized response being a response in at least one of the plurality of building systems.
