摘要: A battery pack includes a plurality of battery modules including module cases. Side surfaces of the module cases in which battery cells are accommodated face each other and a water injection hole is formed in a top surface of each of the module cases, and a fire extinguishing tank unit containing a fire extinguishing agent, located over the plurality of battery modules, and configured to supply the fire extinguishing agent only into a battery module in which a thermal event occurs from among the plurality of battery modules through the water injection holes.

摘要: A battery fire suppression system comprising one or more battery packs; one or more sensors disposed internal to the one or more battery packs; a fire suppressant deployment system; a controller, one or more software modules that, when executed by the controller, receive one or more signals from the one or more sensors indicative of one or more conditions internal to the one or more battery packs; actuate the fire suppressant deployment system to deploy a fire suppressant to suppress a fire or possible fire in the one or more battery packs if the one or more signals are indicative of a thermal runaway in the one or more battery packs.

摘要: A containment system for a hazardous product includes a housing unit for storing the hazardous product. The housing unit includes sensors disposed throughout for detecting a thermal event. The system further includes an active fire suppression system configured to suppress the thermal event based on thermal event information received from the sensors. The system also includes a controller for processing signals from the sensors and activating the active fire suppression system, such as providing fire suppressants locally and/or globally or active venting. The system further includes a passive fire suppression system configured to suppress the thermal event using passive suppression without requiring activation from the controller, such as by coating surfaces of the system or using temperature sensitive venting or suppressant provision. The system may further include a training system to mimic the thermal event.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a rail mobile electric vehicle charging system capable of charging an electric vehicle by moving an electric vehicle charger to a certain position through a method of moving a plurality of electric vehicle chargers to a predetermined charge spot using a moving unit that moves along a rail and connecting an input port of the electric vehicle charger to a power terminal provided at the charge spot, so that there is no need to designate a dedicated parking lot for electric vehicle charging, and there are no problems with charging the electric vehicle even if electric vehicles and regular engine vehicles are parked without distinction, and there is no need to move the electric vehicle to another space even after charging is completed, thereby maximizing the convenience of charging and providing fire monitoring and fire extinguishing functions.

摘要: A battery pack includes a battery module including a water injection hole through which a fire extinguishing liquid can be supplied at an upper end portion and at least one drain hole through which the fire extinguishing liquid can be discharged at a lower end portion, a fire extinguishing tank unit containing the fire extinguishing liquid, located over the battery module, and configured to supply the fire extinguishing liquid to the battery module through the water injection hole, and a module supporter unit located under the battery module and supporting the battery module so that the battery module is located at a certain height from a ground. The module supporter unit includes a contaminated water storage container in which the fire extinguishing liquid dropping from the battery module through the drain hole is accommodated.

摘要: An embodiment of the present invention relates to a fire-extinguishing system of an energy storage device including a plurality of battery racks for receiving a plurality of battery modules, the fire-extinguishing system comprising: a sensing part for detecting at least one of a temperature, a voltage, and smoke of a battery module; and a fire-extinguishing part for injecting a fire-extinguishing chemical to the battery module when at least one of values detected by the sensing part exceeds a predetermined threshold value, wherein the fire-extinguishing part further comprises a pipe fitting member provided on a path through which the fire-extinguishing chemical is supplied with respect to the battery rack to change a supply pressure of the fire-extinguishing chemical.
