Abstract:
An image formation apparatus includes: an imaging system synchronization signal generator which generates an imaging system synchronization signal for operating an image processing system mechanism; a feeding system synchronization signal generator which operates in synchronization with the imaging system synchronization signal generator, the feeding system synchronization signal generator generating a feeding system synchronization signal for operating a feeding system mechanism; an imaging system synchronization signal period setter which sets, as a plurality of periods of the imaging system synchronization signal, a first plurality of different periods being predetermined in accordance with a plurality of modes of the image processing, for the imaging system synchronization signal generator; and a feeding system synchronization signal period setter which sets, as a period of the feeding system synchronization signal, a common single period being common to a plurality of modes of the image processing, for the feeding system synchronization signal generator.
Abstract:
An apparatus for turning a page of an opened book includes an arm section which has an adhesion member provided on a tip end portion; a driving section which reciprocates the adhesion member via the arm section; a detection section which detects an overcurrent applied to the driving section; and a control section which controls timing at which the adhesion member that is reciprocated by the driving section starts reverse rotation. The control section, when reversing a moving direction of the adhesion member from a direction toward a starting point of page turning to a direction toward an end point of the page turning, reverses the moving direction based on a timing of the overcurrent by the detection section.
Abstract:
An arm motor control section controls the operation of an arm motor that drives an arm section for turning a page of a book by pressing an adhesion roller against the page, and a current detection section outputs a current limit notice upon detecting an overcurrent in the arm motor which is limited by a limiter. When a current limit notice is outputted in a page turning operation, a CPU drives and controls the arm motor to perform reverse rotation by the arm motor control section, and thereby controls a pressing period that is a locking period during which the adhesion roller is pressing the page.
Abstract:
A printing apparatus includes: a print head; an image carrier; a print controller which controls the print head to execute printing on a recording medium for printing via the image carrier, based on print data; a judgement unit which judges whether a lubricant is to be provided on a surface of the image carrier or not, based on a coverage rate by the print data, wherein the coverage rate is the total number of dots to be printed for an area divided by the total number of dots of the area; and a lubricant controller which controls provision of the lubricant on the surface when the judgement unit judges that the surface is to be provided with the lubricant.
