摘要: The present invention provides a method of safely producing a solution containing a tetrafluoro(oxalate)phosphate in which the amounts of chlorine compounds and free acids are low such that crystallization refinement is not required in a post-process. The method produces a tetrafluoro(oxalate)phosphate solution by mixing a tetrafluoro(oxalate)phosphate with oxalic acid in a non-aqueous solvent and then adding silicon tetrachloride to the resulting mixture solution for reaction. In the reaction, the addition ratio of the hexafluorophosphate, oxalic acid, and silicon tetrachloride is controlled such that the amount of the hexafluorophosphate is 1.90 moles or more and the amount of the oxalic acid is 1.90 to 2.10 moles, based on 1 mole of the silicon tetrachloride.

In the electrolyte for a non-aqueous electrolyte battery including a positive electrode including at least one selected from the group consisting of oxides containing nickel and phosphates containing nickel as a positive electrode active material, the electrolyte comprises (I) a non-aqueous organic solvent, (II) a fluorine-containing solute being an ionic salt, (III) at least one additive selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by formulae (1) and (2), and (IV) hydrogen fluoride in an amount of 5 mass ppm or more and less than 200 mass ppm based on the total amount of the components (I), (II), and (III).
