Abstract: Apparatus for providing an indication of the position of a movable member comprising a magnet which moves with the member and a plurality of magnetic flux responsive switches individually positioned along a line parallel to the path of movement of the member. A voltage divider electrically connected to the switches provides a signal commensurate with the position of the member to a position indicating device which includes a second voltage divider, a stepping relay and means to indicate the position of the stepping relay.
