Abstract: This application discloses a housing, a battery cell, a battery, and an electric device, and pertains to the field of battery technologies. The housing has at least three edge portions intersecting at a same vertex. An indentation groove is provided on the housing, and the indentation groove intersects with at least two of the edge portions. Because the region near the edge portion of the housing has strong deformation resistance, the probability of abnormal cracking of the indentation groove due to creeping of the region in which the indentation groove is provided on the housing is reduced, thereby prolonging service life of the battery cell.

The pressure relief mechanism is configured to: keep in a first pressure relief state when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell is greater than or equal to a first threshold and less than a second threshold, so as to release the internal pressure of the battery cell; and keep in a second pressure relief state when the internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell is greater than or equal to the second threshold, so as to release the internal pressure of the battery cell.
