The connecting assembly includes: a connector, including a first connecting portion for connecting a tab of an electrode assembly, a second connecting portion for connecting an electrode terminal, and a third connecting portion for connecting the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion, where a fusing portion is formed between the first connecting portion and the third connecting portion, and the third connecting portion has a first surface facing the electrode assembly; a first insulator wrapping the fusing portion; and a second insulator covering at least a portion of the first surface, where the second insulator and the first insulator are integrally formed.

Abstract: An electrode plate assembly for a secondary battery module is disclosed, comprising a plurality of cells (100) arranged in a vertical stack (10). Each cell of the stack comprises a positive electrode plate (110), a negative electrode plate, and a separator. The separator is interposed between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate and configured allow ions to move between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate. The electrode plate assembly further comprises a plurality of contacting means (140) for electrical monitoring of the cells, wherein each of the plurality of contacting means is electrically connected to at least one of the positive and negative electrode plates of a respective one of the cells and arranged to protrude laterally from a side edge (101, 102, 103) of the cell. The contacting means are distributed spatially along a width (W) of the stack.

Abstract: A battery cell having a layer stack including anode layers and corresponding cathode layers. The anode and cathode layers being stacked alternately one on top of the other. A separator layer is arranged between each anode and cathode layer. Anode or cathode conductor tracks are guided laterally out of the layer stack at least from some of the anode layers and/or some of the cathode layers at least on a first end face of the layer stack. The anode conductor tracks or the cathode conductor tracks being combined in a bundled manner and each contacted on the anode current collector or on the cathode current collector. The bundles of the anode or cathode conductor tracks are each passed between two folds, and insulation layers are held in position by a spring action of their particular folds against a pressure being applied indirectly by the first cover.

To this end, provided in the present invention is a secondary battery comprising: an electrode assembly for a prismatic secondary battery; a case for a prismatic secondary battery for accommodating the electrode assembly; a cap plate coupled to the case; and a terminal part which is coupled to a side portion of the electrode assembly and is extendedly bent from the side portion to an upper portion of the electrode assembly, wherein the terminal part includes a bent part which is bent upward from an end part connected to the upper portion of the electrode assembly to protrude out of the cap plate.
