    Abstract: The embodiment of the present application provides a battery module, a battery group, a power consumption device, and a failure handling method. The battery module includes: a plurality of battery units, each of the plurality of battery units including a top cover, where the plurality of battery units includes a failed battery unit after the battery module fails; a connecting plate for connecting the plurality of battery units in series, where the connecting plate includes a first connecting plate connected to the failed battery unit; and a conductive component for electrically connected to the top cover of the failed battery unit, where at least one of the connecting plate and the conductive component is provided with a mating portion for being mated with the other of the connecting plate and the conductive component, so that the battery module resumes working.

    Abstract: The present application provides an electrode assembly, a batter cell, a battery, an electric apparatus, and a manufacturing method and device of the electrode assembly. A negative plate of the electrode assembly includes a plurality of first negative active material layers located in an abutting region, and a plurality of second negative active material layers located in a non-abutting region; a positive plate of the electrode assembly includes a plurality of first positive active material layers located in the abutting region, and a plurality of second positive active material layers located in the non-abutting region. An active material capacity per unit area of the first negative active material layer is greater than that of the second negative active material layer; and/or an active material capacity per unit area of the first positive active material layer is less than that of the second positive active material layer.
