Abstract: This application relates to a battery module and a battery pack. The battery module includes: a plurality of battery cells, configured to be connected in series, where after the battery module fails, the plurality of battery cells include a failed battery cell and at least one non-failed battery cell adjacent to the failed battery cell; and a first connecting piece, configured to connect the failed battery cell to the at least one non-failed battery cell, where the first connecting piece includes a first connecting portion and a conductive portion connected to the first connecting portion, the first connecting portion is configured to be electrically connected to an enclosure of the failed battery cell, and the conductive portion is configured to be electrically connected to the at least one non-failed battery cell, so as to restore the battery module to work.

Abstract: The embodiment of the present application provides a battery module, a battery group, a power consumption device, and a failure handling method. The battery module includes: a plurality of battery units, each of the plurality of battery units including a top cover, where the plurality of battery units includes a failed battery unit after the battery module fails; a connecting plate for connecting the plurality of battery units in series, where the connecting plate includes a first connecting plate connected to the failed battery unit; and a conductive component for electrically connected to the top cover of the failed battery unit, where at least one of the connecting plate and the conductive component is provided with a mating portion for being mated with the other of the connecting plate and the conductive component, so that the battery module resumes working.

Abstract: This application relates to a battery module, a device, and a failure handling method for a failed battery cell. The battery module includes: battery cells, where each battery cell includes a housing, a top cover, and an electrode assembly, the housing is connected to the top cover, the housing includes a first accommodation cavity, the electrode assembly is located inside the first accommodation cavity, the top cover is provided with a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal, and the battery cells further include a failed battery cell; and a conductive component, connected to the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal of the failed battery cell. After being connected to the electrode terminals, the conductive component does not occupy space outside the failed battery cell, improving safety of the battery module.

The battery module includes: a plurality of battery units configured to be serially-connected, where the plurality of battery units include a failed battery unit and at least one non-failed battery unit after the battery module fails; and a conductive part, electrically connected to the at least one non-failed battery unit, and configured to make a current bypass an electrode assembly of the failed battery unit so that the battery module resumes working. This application simplifies a maintenance process of the battery module, reduces maintenance cost, and improves working efficiency of the battery module.
