摘要: A progressive spectacle lens includes a substrate which has a front face and a rear face and is made from a material with a regionally varying refractive index, wherein the front face and/or the rear face has/have a free-form surface geometry. The progressive spectacle lens complies with the following optical requirements: (1) a prescribed dioptric power in the distance reference point within the permissible limit deviations in accordance with EN ISO 8980-2:2004 and a prescribed dioptric power in the near reference point within the permissible limit deviations in accordance with EN ISO 8980-2:2004, (2) a monotonically steady increase in the dioptric power between the distance reference point and near reference point along a principal line of vision, and (3) a progression channel. The progressive spectacle lens has a free-form surface geometry of the front face and/or rear face.

摘要: A progressive addition lens contains a plurality of microlenses for providing simultaneous myopic defocus. The microlenses are superimposed on a power variation surface of the lens, which includes a designated distance portion in the upper section of the lens adapted for distance vision and a fitting cross; a designated near portion located in the lower section of the lens, the near portion including a near reference point having a near dioptric power adapted for near vision; and a designated intermediate corridor extending between the designated distance portion and near portions. Microlenses are excluded from all areas of the surface located below a notional line extending from nasal to temporal limits of the lens at a vertical coordinate above the near reference point where the vertical coordinate lies at a distance above the near reference point with the distance being in a range between 1.5 mm and 3 mm.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a spectacle lens having a lens substrate and at least one coating is disclosed. The method includes providing a lens substrate having an uncoated or precoated front surface and an uncoated or precoated back surface, applying at least one coating to at least one of the surfaces of the lens substrate, the surface of the at least one coating being modifiable when contacted with at least one medium able to modify the surface of the at least one coating, contacting the surface of the at least one coating, partially or completely, with the at least one medium, considering the individual peripheral refraction, obtaining the spectacle lens having the lens substrate and the at least one coating, the surface of the at least one coating being modified according to the individual peripheral refraction.
