摘要: A bifocal spectacle lens and a method for creating a numerical representation of a bifocal spectacle lens are disclosed. The bifocal spectacle lens includes a distance portion, a near portion, and a transition section situated between the distance portion and the near portion. The distance portion is optimized in view of an optical power for distance vision and the near portion is optimized in view of an optical power for near vision. The transition section is determined such that the transition section creates a continuous transition between the distance portion and the near portion. The distance portion and the near portion are optimized independently of one another and put together with the transition section to form the numerical representation of the bifocal spectacle lens.

摘要: A family of spectacle lenses is provided in which each spectacle lens is configured to achieve a specified prescriptive spherical power from among a number of prescriptive spherical powers and a specified prescriptive astigmatic power from among a number of prescriptive astigmatic powers. Each spectacle lens has a specified rotationally symmetrical spectacle-lens front face, a specified atoric spectacle-lens rear face, and in at least one principal section, such a deviation in the curvature from the circular form that, for a value for the distance between the vertex of the spectacle lens rear face and the pivot point of the eye, which lies in a range between 15 and 40 mm, at any point in a spectacle lens region within a radius of 25 mm about the geometrical center of the spectacle lens, an upper limit of the total deviation of the power is not exceeded.

摘要: A target design is produced with a computer-implemented method that takes into consideration an astigmatic effect and is suitable for optimizing a spectacle lens having the astigmatic effect. The method includes providing an initial target design that does not directly take into consideration the astigmatic effect of the spectacle lens, and producing the target design by correcting the initial target design on the basis of a correction target design that directly takes into consideration the astigmatic effect of the spectacle lens.

摘要: A computer implemented method of determining a base curve value representing a base curve for a front surface of a spectacle lens comprises the steps of receiving individual prescription data and determining the base curve value for the front surface of the spectacle lens based on the prescription data. The base curve value is calculated from the received prescription data based on a functional relationship between one or more values included in the prescription data and the base curve value.

摘要: A device and a method for establishing a target design are disclosed. A generator generates a graphical representation of a starting target design and displays it on a display. A user directly manipulates a graphical representation of the starting target design displayed on the display through the graphical user interface. The graphical representation of the manipulated starting target design is updated and displayed on the display.
