摘要: A journal system for promoting a person's personal growth and a method of guiding journal entries are provided. The journal system includes a journal page configured to receive entries from a user and a plurality of repositionable guides. Each repositionable guide of the journal system includes a different intention to assist the user in making an entry on the journal page. The repositionable guides are individually positionable on the journal to provide the intention. The journal system also includes a storage location for the plurality of repositionable guides. The storage location is separate from the journal page so that the plurality of repositionable guides are not viewable on the journal page until the selected one of the plurality of repositionable guides is positioned on the page by the user.

摘要: A personal growth system and method for personal growth are provided. The personal growth system may be web-enabled and may include a communication interface operable to communicate with an endpoint user interface. The user interface generally includes a display area. The personal growth program is operable to generate, for a user in the display area, a first information request for the user and to obtain first user input relating to the user's current state of being. The personal growth system also may include a recommendation database defining guided experiences, each of which may include at least one instruction that leads the user through the guided experience. The personal growth system may communicate applicable guided experiences to the endpoint based on the first user input. The instructions of the guided experiences may specify an act intended to generate a result. The personal growth program may be further operable to generate, for the user in the display area, a second information request and to obtain second user input relating to the result. An account database in the personal growth system stores a growth interaction history of the user, which may include the first user input, the selected guided experience, and the second user input relating to the result of the selected guided experience.

摘要: A device for relieving user stress and method of using same are disclosed. The device may be provided in the form of a kit that the user may use to relieve himself or herself of troubling thoughts and use the dissolution features of the kit to visually observe the thought melting away. The kit may include a plurality of dissolvable substrates on which thoughts can be recorded, a writing instrument to record the thoughts on the substrate, a vessel to contain a solvent, and a medical device to monitor one or more physiological parameters of the user. The physiological parameters of the user may include blood pressure, heart rate, respiration rate, brain function, and combinations thereof.

摘要: A folding stock is provided for a pistol. The stock is particularly suited for automatic pistols which may employ extended magazines. The stock includes a first end which mates with the hollow located in the rear portion of the grip of the pistol. A first stock element is attached to the first end. A second stock element is pivotally attached to the first stock element. The attachment includes a spring mounted push-button element. The push-button element, when depressed, permits rotation of the stock from a folded to an unfolded position and visa versa. The pivotal attachment is securable in a folded first position and an unfolded second position. The folded position brings the first stock element into a substantially parallel and proximal arrangement with the second stock element. The securing mechanism is engaged and disengaged by the push-button located on the right side of the intersection of the first stock element and the second stock element. The push-button may be a pin member which is urged into a secured position by a pair of resilient springs. The push-button, when depressed, pushes the springs into their nest. When the push-button is fully depressed, the first and second stock member may rotate between the folded position and the unfolded position. When the push-button is released, the spring force urges the pin member (push-button) back to the neutral position, thus securing the first and second stock member in a folded or unfolded relation. The second stock element includes an U-shaped bend about midway down its length which would permit simple loading of extended length clips when the stock is in its folded position. The second stock element is attached to a shoulder interface. When the stock is extended, the shoulder interface would rest against one's shoulder, when folded the shoulder interface rests against the trigger guard.
