Abstract:
Disclosed is a dual aperture camera which includes a dual band filter and a CMOS image sensor (CIS). The dual band filter is adapted to filter light signals to receive a light signal of a first wavelength range and receive a light signal of a second wavelength range through a pin hole included therein. The CIS is adapted to process the light signal of the first wavelength range and the light signal of the second wavelength range received through the dual band filter.
Abstract:
A method for determining a distance between an image sensor and an object includes acquiring a first image for an object and a second image distinguished from the first image, using a cut-off filter for cutting off one of R G and B signals, and determining a distance between the image sensor and the object.

Abstract:
Provided are a method and an apparatus for embodying an ADC and a PGA using a common amplifier. The apparatus for embodying ADC and PGA using a common amplifier according to the present invention may comprise: a switching unit for performing a phase shift according to a switching operation; a detection unit for detecting a pixel output in a first phase according to control of the switching unit; and an amplification and conversion unit for amplifying the pixel output detected in a second phase according to the control of the switching unit, and for performing an analog-digital conversion in a fourth phase according to the control of the switching unit.
Abstract:
A noise reduction unit included in a sensor array of a multi aperture camera comprises: at least one programmable gain amplifier (PGA) that outputs a difference value between a reset voltage for at least one pixel included in the sensor array and a signal voltage for the at least one pixel, and/or respective values, as an analog signal for the at least one pixel; and at least one AD converter that converts the outputted analog signal for the at least one pixel to a digital signal for the at least one pixel and outputs the digital signal, wherein the at least one AD converter performs an over-sampling operation that samples the output signal of the at least one PGA for the at least one pixel multiple times and/or an averaging operation that calculates an average value for output signal of the at least one PGA which has been sampled multiple times.

Abstract:
An event detection method using frame grouping according to time and an apparatus therefor are provided. The event detection method includes generating a plurality of images by successively capturing objects using a plurality of frames, wherein the plurality of frames are grouped into a plurality of groups based on whether the plurality of frames have the same or similar amounts of exposure, grouping images generated with frames corresponding to each of the plurality of groups, and determining whether a previously defined event occurs using the grouped images.
Abstract:
A biosensor and a sample inflow sensing method are disclosed. The biosensor includes a sample sensing electrode configured to sense inflow of a sample; a component measuring electrode configured to measure a specific component contained in the sample; and an integrated circuit unit for controlling configured to apply a power to the sample sensing electrode periodically and to determine the inflow of the sample based on a capacitance generated by the power applied to the sample sensing electrode.
