摘要: Vaccine compositions that comprise at least one antigen based on the dengue virus (DV) capsid protein and the oligonucleotide identified as SEQ ID NO 1. The vaccine composition that comprises a fusion protein formed by the DV2 capsid and domain III of the envelope protein of the same serotype, together with the oligonucleotide identified as SEQ ID NO 1, gives rise to higher levels of cellular immune response and protection in mice as compared with that produced by formulations of the same antigen together with oligonucleotides with potential adjuvant capacity which were reported previously. The efficacy of the compositions that comprise the SEQ ID NO 1 oligonucleotide has been demonstrated in non-human primates. These compositions may be monovalent, bivalent or tetravalent and are combined in different immunization regimes with a view to inducing a functional immune response to the four viral serotypes.
