摘要： A collapsible target is disclosed. The target comprises a frame that is collapsible from an open, unfolded configuration, to a closed, folded configuration. A fabric housing is mounted on the frame using a series of capped connectors and grommets. The housing comprises a plurality of panels joined together to from an inner compartment. The front panel of the compartment is formed with a window. A target assembly comprising a self-resetting spinner and a base is mounted in the compartment behind the window. The spinner may be mounted on an illuminated axle. The base is dimensioned for alternately holding a breakable clay target. The target is highly portable and easy to setup and take down. The target may be conveniently stored in a bag when not in use.

摘要： A slingshot with handle guard and palm plate is disclosed. The slingshot includes a handle, a pair of forward facing arms with band attachment devices, an arm brace and a retaining clip for securing the arm brace to the handle. The handle includes a plurality of grooves adapted to receive a palm plate at various locations along the length of the handle. The handle further includes a groove formed therein for engaging one end of a handle guard as well as a recess for receiving the other end of the handle guard, which is secured by the retaining clip. The handle further includes a bore formed therethrough for accessories, such as stabilizers, dampeners, storage containers and the like.

摘要： An aiming system is disclosed. The aiming system may be used with various slingshot and projectile-launching devices, but is particularly useful for use with “shoot-over” slingshots. The aiming system comprises a clip or other device with an integrated aiming or sighting system. In the preferred embodiment, the integrated aiming system comprises a plurality of fiber optic strands disposed within the clip and terminating at the rearward face of the clip. In this matter, the tips of the fiber optic strands provide a series of illuminated points allowing the user of a device to look forward while shooting and to align the points with the target. The points may be color coded to aid in the aiming process.

摘要： An attachment for a string tracking apparatus for a bow and arrow of a type having a container of string with one end thereof attached to an arrow nocked onto the string of such bow. The string tracking apparatus is utilized to cause the end of the string to follow the flight of the arrow so that a bow hunter can find the arrow, or game which has been penetrated by the arrow, by merely following the string leading thereto. A clip is attached to the handle of the bow at a position adjacent to the arrow for holding the portion of the string, which has been unwound from the container, adjacent to the arrow and adjacent to the bow handle to minimize the risk that the string will get caught on a branch or otherwise permit more than a desired amount of string to flow from the container prior to shooting the arrow from the bow.

摘要： An improved broadhead assembly for an arrow includes a lightweight hollow hub which is affixed to the arrow shaft through a mounting shaft and sleeve retainer. The lightweight hub is tapered toward the front and includes a broadhead blade receiving slot on the leading end thereof shaped to receive a plurality of such broadhead blades. These broadhead blades are adapted to be retained by the hub slot and extend forwardly thereof to provide a broadhead point which slashes into a target differently than a point which punches at a target. In one embodiment, the plurality of broadhead blades includes a pair of opposed primary blades having frontal tip portions positioned in overlying relation for added tip strength, and a pair of opposed secondary blades having tip portions adapted to tangentially abut the side of an adjacent primary blade tip while extending substantially to the forward point of the primary blade tip. In a second embodiment, three secondary blades meet by abutting each other to define the broadhead point. In both embodiments, the complete broadhead blades may be removed and replaced.

摘要： A spool-like protective device facilitates the mounting of a plurality of razor-sharp broadhead blades on an arrowhead while protecting a user's hands from being cut by the blades. The body of the device includes a tapered central bore adapted to receive an arrowhead and an array of blade receiving slots extending radially from the central bore and aligned in conventional evenly arcuately spaced orientation for receiving three and four blade or more broadhead arrows. Further, at least one side wall of each slot includes a protuberance extending therefrom into the slot forming a surface for frictionally engaging a blade positioned in the slot to prevent undesired movement of a blade once it is substantially inserted therein. An outer generally cylindrical surface on the body is adapted for being grasped by a user to facilitate handling and rotation of the arrowhead when manipulating the blades thereof while maintaining the user's finger's a safe distance from the razor-sharp blade edges.
