The housing has a handle and a rotor casing. The rotor casing is formed on the handle and has a front chamber and a rear chamber. The anvil casing and rear cover respectively cover the front and rear chambers. The rotor assembly is mounted in the rear chamber and is selectively driven by the air inlet assembly. The impact assembly is mounted in the front chamber and the anvil casing and is selectively rotated by the rotor assembly. The separate rotor and anvil casings allow the rotor and impact assemblies to be inserted respectively in the front and rear chambers so that assembling the pneumatic is easy and quick.

    摘要: A cage device includes front and rear end plates respectively provided with front and rear major walls, and spaced apart from each other in a longitudinal direction. The rear major wall is in a splined connection with and driven by a drive output shaft of an air motor, and is formed with a pair of first pin holes which are diametrically spaced apart from each other. The front major wall is formed with an inserting hole for sleeving rotatably on a power output shaft, and a pair of second pin holes which are diametrically spaced apart from each other relative to the inserting hole. Opposite tilt and limit pins are provided with two first secured ends and two second secured ends respectively to be inserted into and in tight connection with, in the longitudinal direction, the first and second pin holes so as to define a space therein. The space can accommodate an impact receiving anvil jaw on the power output shaft and an annular hammer member such that the tilt and limit pins are received in a longitudinal groove and a limiting notch of the hammer member. As such, the problem of forming elongate slots in the cage device can be obviated.

    摘要: A pneumatically driven power tool includes a handle with air inlet and outlet passageways therein, and a transverse mounting housing. The mounting housing has a transverse circumferential portion with a rear abutment wall, a rear annular shoulder portion, an intermediate cylindrical wall segment, and a front annular shoulder portion. A rear bearing member and a rear mounting plate are inserted into the circumferential portion to abut respectively against the rear abutment wall and the rear annular shoulder portion, and are secured by a lockpin. A front mounting plate and a front bearing member are inserted into the circumferential portion to abut against the front annular shoulder portion and the front mounting plate, and are secured by another lockpin. A motor cylinder mates with the circumferential portion. A driven shaft is disposed in and is rotatable relative to the cylinder, and is journalled on the front and rear bearing members. The motor cylinder further has inlet and outlet ports respectively in fluid communication with the inlet and outlet passageways. Compressed air introduced from the inlet passageway into the inlet ports will drive the driven shaft, and will then be discharged from the outlet port via the outlet passageway.

A cylindrical chamber is formed eccentrically in the cylindrical wall. A bearing member is mounted removably on an end of the cylindrical wall. A cylindrical inner wall member is press fitted within the cylindrical wall of the outer cylinder member, and has two spaced adjacent axial sides that define an open-ended axial slot therebetween. The inner wall member can be compressed in a radial direction for removal from the outer cylinder member. Because the outer cylinder member is molded, the power tool can be manufactured easily and conveniently.

    摘要: A speed adjusting apparatus for a pneumatically driven power tool includes a control valve that is adapted to be mounted rotatably within an intake passageway in an outer housing. A connecting rod extends through a pivot hole in a rear cover, and interconnects the valve and a rotary member that is disposed rotatably on the rear cover in such a manner that the valve rotates synchronously with the rotary member. The rotary member can be rotated to align an intake outlet passageway in the valve with a selected one of a forward passageway and a reverse passageway in the rear cover. When the intake outlet passageway is aligned with the forward passageway, a tool head rotates in a direction. When the intake outlet passageway is aligned with the reverse passageway, the tool head rotates in the opposite direction. The tool head rotates at a speed, which depends on the intersecting area between the intake outlet passageway and the selected one of the forward passageway and the reverse passageway that is determined by the rotational angle of the rotary member relative to the rear cover.
