The input control application is used for enabling the electronic device to execute the following actions: obtaining a member group comprising members lined up orderly and a member as a selection member; pressing a key to generate a first signal for excluding members after the selection member, then determining if only one member left in the member group, if “No”, determining the member of the member group in the middle as the new selection member, if “Yes”, executing the input operation; pressing another key to generate a second signal for excluding the members before the current selection member, then determining if only one last member in the current member group, if No”, determining the member of the member group in the middle as the new selection member, if “Yes”, executing the input operation.
