    摘要: Disclosed herein is an electrophoretic display, which includes a first substrate, an electrophoretic layer, a second substrate, a stress controlling layer and an adhesive layer. The first substrate includes at least one active device and at least one pixel electrode electrically coupled to the active device. The electrophoretic layer is disposed above the pixel electrode. The second substrate is disposed above the electrophoretic layer. The stress controlling layer is formed on a lower surface of the second substrate. The adhesive layer is disposed between the surface stressed layer and the electrophoretic layer, and is in contact with the stress controlling layer and the electrophoretic layer. The adhesion between the stress controlling layer and the adhesive layer is about 75% to 125% of the adhesion between the electrophoretic layer and the adhesive layer.

    摘要: A sub-pixel structure of color electrophoretic display includes a driving unit, a display unit and a transparent electrode, wherein the display unit is disposed on the driving unit and the transparent electrode is disposed on the display unit. The display unit includes a plurality of first charged particles and a plurality of second charged particles. A color of the first charged particles is different from a color of the second charged particles. Diameters of the first charged particles are greater than diameters of the second charged particles. The first charged particles and the second charged particles have the same electrical property. The sub-pixel structure of color electrophoretic display has high light utility efficiency.

    摘要: A flexible display device includes an array substrate, a display medium layer, a transparent substrate and a first sealant. The first sealant is formed between the array substrate and the transparent substrate and located in the sealant spread region of the array substrate. The first sealant has a first sidewall and a second sidewall. One of the first sidewall and the second sidewall has a plurality of fillisters arranged at intervals. Since the first sealant of the flexible display device has the fillisters arranged at intervals, the stress imposed on the first sealant may be decreased. Therefore, the life of the first sealant may be prolonged and the sealing performance of the flexible display device can be improved.

    摘要: A method of fabricating electro-phoretic display is performed by the steps of: providing a first electrode substrate and a second electrode substrate disposed above the first electrode substrate in an electro-phoretic liquid, wherein the first electrode substrate comprises a substrate and a plurality of pixel electrodes disposed on the substrate; putting at least a charged micro-capsule between the first electrode substrate and the second electrode substrate in the electro-phoretic liquid; making the electricity of a portion of the pixel electrodes is opposite to the electricity of the charged micro-capsules for attracting the charged micro-capsules to above the portion of the pixel electrodes. Since the charged microcapsules are disposed on the pixel electrodes immediately and the micro-capsules corresponded to the same pixel electrode have a plurality of colorful charged particles with the same color, the electric-phoretic display fabricated by this method may not only have high reflectivity and transmittance, but also display a picture with single original color.
