摘要： A developer supply container includes a cover plate mounted on an outer surface of a container body and provided with an opening corresponding to a developer supply port of the container body, which is sealed by a seal tape. The seal tape has a folded section extending through a gap between the container body and the cover plate and a through hole of the cover plate such that an end portion of the seal tape is exposed. A seal piece is mounted on an outer surface of the cover plate. On the outer surface of the container body a door member is slidably mounted. The developer supply container can prevent developer from leak out and has a good manufacturing yield rate.

摘要： A method for editing a video data stream is suited for converting an analog AV signal into a MPEG file in a recordable player. The method includes the steps of: converting the analog AV signal into a plurality of continuous digital frames; inserting time information onto the digital frames; and encoding the digital frames with the time information into the MPEG file and recording the MPEG file onto an optical disc. In this way, when the recorded disc is played by different optical disk players, the time information is always shown on a screen at the same position.

摘要： A method for controlling an auto-balancing system of an optic disk in an optic disk drive is proposed. As the rotary speed of a spindle motor is not faster than a critical speed, a dither signal of high frequency and micro amplitude is added to a command signal for speeding a maximum rotary speed for reducing friction force, and then the balancing mass successfully moves to a position with a reverse phase opposite to an unbalance vector of the optic disk. After the rotary speed of the spindle motor is higher than a critical speed, the dither signal and then speeding the spindle motor is removed and the motor is accelerated to a maximum rotary speed.

摘要： A switching mechanism for a toner cartridge includes a base and a sliding member. The base is mounted to a housing. A chamber is defined between the housing and the base for receiving the sliding member. The base has a guiding slot. The sliding member has a body received in the chamber, a suspension arm extending from the body, a hook disposed on the suspension arm, and a post extending from the suspension arm and received in the guiding slot. When the sliding member is moved to different positions, an outlet of the toner cartridge can be closed or opened. The post moves along the guiding slot to cause an elastic deformation of the suspension arm for changing the position of the hook such that an erroneous operation of the switching mechanism can be avoided, and a mold for the switching mechanism is easy to manufacture to reduce the manufacturing costs.

The external storage device is additionally connected to a DVD or VCD recordable player. A USB transmission port or an IEEE 1394 transmission port is embedded in the DVD or VCD recordable player. Thus, data transmission between the player and the external storage device may be made through a USB transmission line or an IEEE 1394 transmission line. Therefore, AV data can be transferred to the external storage device from the DVD or VCD recordable player such that the AV data can be edited, rewritten and deleted. In addition, the data in the external storage device also can be transferred back to the DVD recordable player so that the data can be recorded and played.
