    摘要: Handoff control methods. User equipment measures the strength of a first pilot signal in an active set. The first pilot signal is transmitted from a base station currently providing services to the user equipment. Handoff parameters for handoff are dynamically set according to the strength of the first pilot signal, and handoff thresholds are determined corresponding to the handoff parameters. If the total strength of other pilot signals other than the first pilot signal in the active set is below a predetermined value, the handoff parameters are further adjusted.

    摘要: A system for scheduling packets to be transmitted is provided. The system includes a soft delay bound calculator module and a frame determination module. The soft delay bound calculator module calculates a soft delay bound for a non-real-time packet based on a packet size of the non-real-time packet and a minimum reserved traffic rate of a channel. The frame determination module determines whether a real-time packet must be transmitted at a current frame according to a delay bound, a transmission time, and a possible retransmission time thereof, and whether a non-real-time packet must be transmitted at a current frame according to a soft delay bound, a transmission time, and a possible retransmission time thereof. Thus, it is possible to improve the performance of the system while keeping the QoS thereof in a mixed service environment.

    摘要: A High Definition (HD) video wireless transmission method for transmitting a data packet for a video frame of an HD video is provided. The method includes: receiving the video frame which comprises a video frame size; acquiring a payload length and a Minimal Required Transmission Time (MRTT) associated with the video frame, wherein the MRTT is a minimal time bound for transmitting the video frame to a receiving end; performing partitioning to the video frame for acquiring the data packet according to the payload length; and performing scheduling to the data packet according to the MRTT, and the scheduled data packet is transmitted to the receiving end.
