摘要: Methods for creating computer-readable image files having annotation data, e.g., one or more audio annotations, embedded therein are provided. The method may include receiving an image file having image data therein, receiving annotation data, e.g., one or more audio annotations, relating to the image data, and embedding the annotation data into the image file to create a modified image file. Computer-readable media having stored thereon a data structure which includes a first portion containing data representing an image and a second portion containing data representing annotation information relating to the image, wherein the first portion is embedded in the second portion, are also provided. Still further, a computer-readable image file having image data and annotation data relating to the image data is also provided.

摘要: A tool for creating integrated collections. The tool may include a “basket” control that includes interfaces for receiving and displaying the data objects that are selected by a user to be included in a collection, and a collection creation component then provides a collection with one or more data items corresponding to the objects submitted to the basket control. The basket control may be employed by itself to make collections, or it may be hosted by another software object, such as a “listmaker” control that conveniently contains both the basket control and one or more user interfaces that a user can employ to provide data objects to the basket control. The listmaker control may thus include a viewing graphical user interface for viewing data objects and a navigation toolbar for navigating the viewing graphical user interface. The listmaker control may then be hosted as desired in a variety of software applications.

摘要: An assembly for use with a syringe having a barrel and a needle includes a sealing element surrounding and positioned over at least a portion of the distal end of the syringe. An adapter at least partially surrounds the sealing element and is positioned over the distal end of the syringe. The adapter has a first skin contacting surface positioned at a distal end thereof. At least a portion of the first skin contacting surface extends generally parallel to at least a terminal end of the needle. The adapter also has a second skin contacting surface positioned proximally relative to the terminal end of the needle and at an angle to the first skin contacting surface. A needle shield at least partially surrounds and is removably positioned over at least one of the adapter, the sealing element and the syringe barrel.

摘要: An intradermal injection adapter includes a body having a longitudinal axis and a central portion located distally relative to the body along the longitudinal axis. The central portion has a cannula channel therethrough extending generally parallel to the longitudinal axis. A cannula within the cannula channel has a sharpened tip for injection into a patient and a sharpened opposite proximal end for injection into a pen injector. A distal protrusion has a first skin contacting surface extending generally parallel to the longitudinal axis. The first skin contacting surface is spaced from the cannula such that a distal portion of the cannula extends generally parallel to the first skin contacting surface.
