摘要: Systems and methods are described for triggering interrogation of RFID tags by an RFID system in different interrogation spaces in response to detection of the presence and/or motion of an object using a machine vision system. One embodiment of the invention includes an RFID exciter configured to communicate with a master controller, where the master controller is configured to control activation of the RFID exciter and a video camera connected to an application server, where the application server is configured to communicate with the master controller. In addition, the video camera is configured to provide a video sequence of a scene to the application server, the application server is configured to store information concerning a region of interest within the scene, the application server is configured to detect motion within the region of interest using the video sequence, the application server is configured to send a trigger message to the master controller in response to the detection of motion within the region of interest, and the master controller is configured to activate the RFID exciter in response to receipt of a trigger message from the application server.

摘要: There is disclosed a power drop assembly which includes a housing and a reel positioned and rotatable within it. Preferably, the device determines, not only whether power is available, but how much power is available. Preferably, the power drop assembly also contains a processor and non-transitory storage medium, so that user settings and profiles as well as settings and profiles for the power drop assembly can be stored and run. Additionally, the power drop assembly preferably contains a wireless transceiver which connects to a home Wi-Fi network and then to a cloud account, user profiles and settings, and settings and profiles for the power drop assembly can be saved on the cloud account. In this way multiple users can use the power drop assembly without contradicting instructions or resetting the power drop assembly every time it is used.

摘要: Devices, systems, and methods for varying rotational speeds is disclosed. A battery pack has a plurality of batteries and a switch. The battery pack has an overall voltage. The switch varies the overall voltage in discrete steps by combining the plurality of batteries in series, in parallel, or in a combination thereof. A motor drives a shaft at a rotational speed. The motor is powered by the battery pack. The rotational speed varies proportionally with the overall voltage.

摘要: The invention is a method for intelligent current limiting enabling chaining of electrical appliances. Different embodiments apply to alternating current (AC) appliances, direct current (DC) appliances, and a combination of each. In each embodiment, current limits control the number of appliances that can be connected in the chain. If current limits are exceeded, current-limiting devices cut power to one or more of the appliances. Each appliance in the system has conductors with the capacity to carry a current load at least as large as the overall current limit. Preferably, the appliances in the system are garage appliances that are mounted to an overhead track system in a garage, where electrical outlets are scarce.

摘要: An injection device (1) for administering a fixed dose of a medication is provided. The injection device (1) comprises a housing (2) wherein a drive mechanism comprising a drive member (3) is at least partially enclosed and a dosing element (34) which is fixed relative to the drive member (3). Here, a dose can be set by rotating the dosing element (34) relative to the housing (2) in a dose set direction (105) and the dose can be dispensed by pushing the dosing element (34) towards the housing (2). Moreover, a method is provided for operating an injection device (1) for the administration of a fixed dose of a medication: A dose can be set by rotating a dosing element (34), a dose can be dispensed by pushing the dosing element (34) towards the housing (2) and a dose can be cancelled by rotating the dosing element (34) in a direction (106) opposite to the dose set direction (105).
