摘要： A running board is provided for a motor vehicle. The running board includes a stepping platform having a step side and an underside each extending longitudinally between opposing end walls and laterally between an inboard wall and an outboard wall. A bracket integrally molded with the stepping platform is adapted to be secured to the vehicle. A plurality of primary reinforcing ribs extends along the underside of the stepping platform between the inboard wall and the outboard wall. A plurality of secondary reinforcing ribs extends along the underside of the stepping platform. At least one of the plurality of secondary reinforcing ribs abut at least one of the inboard and outboard walls. The plurality of primary and secondary reinforcing ribs provide support to the running board as a downward force is applied to the step side of the stepping platform.

摘要： A liftgate structure having a structural inner panel with an outside surface and an inner surface having a lower perimeter surface area extending across substantially the entire width of the structural inner panel. The structural inner panel includes a wiper motor housing recess formed on the inner surface. A plurality of brackets are connected to the outside surface of the structural inner panel, where each of the brackets has at least one friendly hole. The liftgate structure further includes a tether having 2 ends each having at least one over molded retainer for connecting the tether to a wiper motor housing positioned within the wiper motor housing recess of the structural inner panel. Additionally the tether is positioned through each of the at least one friendly holes of the plurality of brackets.

摘要： A step assembly includes an upper housing adapted to be fixedly secured to the motor vehicle. A step is movable relative to the upper housing between a stowed position and a deployed position. A single arm is pivotal with respect to the upper housing and pivotal with respect to the step in order to form a three-bar linkage for moving the step between the stowed and deployed positions.

摘要： A bracket assembly secures a running board to a rocker panel, which includes a pinch weld depending therefrom. The bracket assembly includes a receiving panel adapted to have the running board fixedly secured thereto. A rocker securing plate extends out from the receiving panel and is secured to the rocker panel. An intermediate securing tab extends outwardly between the receiving panel and the rocker securing plate for securing the bracket assembly to the pinch weld outboard thereof.
