The printing device is used for printing images on plural papers. The printed papers are transmitted to the stapling device and stapled by the stapling device. The stapling device includes a minor casing and a main casing, which are respectively connected with a first surface and a second surface of the printing device casing. Since the stapling device is connected with two difference surfaces of the printing device casing, the overall height of the image forming apparatus is reduced.

    摘要: A sheet alignment and ejection mechanism includes a sheet alignment device, a sheet ejection device, a power device and a transmission unit. The sheet alignment device includes a first one-way element. The sheet ejection device includes a second one-way element. The transmission unit includes plural gears. The transmission unit is connected with the power device, the first one-way element and the second one-way element for driving rotation of the first one-way element and the second one-way element. The first one-way element and the second one-way element are rotated in opposite directions. When the first one-way element is rotated in a first direction, the sheets aligned on a sheet placement tray are aligned by the sheet alignment device. When the second one-way element is rotated in the first direction, the stapled sheets are ejected out of the sheet placement tray by the sheet ejection device.

    摘要: A stapling device for use with a printing device is provided. The stapling device is disposed on the printing device. The stapling device includes an exit, a conveying channel, and a channel base plate. The channel base plate is located at a bottom side of said first conveying channel. In addition, the channel base plate has a movable contact plate, which may be moved relative to the channel base plate. In a case that a paper jam event occurs within the stapling device, the user may move the movable contact plate. As the movable contact plate is moved, the jammed paper sheet is correspondingly moved to a position near the exit. Consequently, the jammed paper sheet can be easily removed through the exit by the user.

    摘要: A sheet alignment device includes a first alignment arm, a second alignment arm, a first sensor and a controller. The first alignment arm includes a first blocking piece and a second blocking piece. During the sheet-aligning action of each sheet, the first alignment arm is moved for a preset distance from a standby position. Then, the first alignment arm is moved back to the standby position, and a waiting time is required to introduce a next sheet into the sheet placement tray. When the first sensor is no longer interrupted by the second blocking piece of the first alignment arm, the controller starts to calculate the moving distance of the first alignment arm. Since the moving distance of the first alignment arm is calculated at the same start point during the sheet-aligning action of each sheet is performed, the possibility of resulting in the moving distance error is minimized.
