    摘要: The roof window assembly comprises a main frame component and a window component including a glazing element. In order to reduce the influx of light an external screening accessory is provided. The screening accessory comprises an elongate housing extending in parallel with the top and bottom members of the frame and from which a screening member is retractable by movement parallel to the side members of the frame. An end member connected with a free end of the screening member extends throughout the width of the window frame and includes engaging means at either end of the end member for engagement with a transverse inwards recess in the outer side of each side member of the window frame.

    摘要: A roof window assembly is composed of a window component, a main frame component and, optionally, an integrated flashing component. The window component may be used independently and without modifications for a roof window installation employing a curb-frame. The window component features a novel design with an glazing element fitted in a profiled sheet metal frame, which can be made from a single continuous sheet metal profile bent into a polygonal frame shape with corner junctions. In both fixed and ventilating versions of the roof window assembly identical connecting members into open mutual engagement at the top side of the window and main frame components provides for easy mounting and dismounting of the window component with respect to the main frame component. The flashing component comprises a rigid flashing frame arrangeable against outer side faces of the main frame component and foldable resilient side flashing sheets, which can be folded to allow packing of the flashing component together with the window and main frame components into a single unit comprising all components needed for installation of the roof window assembly.

    摘要: The invention relates to a flashing member for use with a roof window mounted on an upstand, said flashing member having at least one insulating member and a compensation member on the inner side. The compensation member, which allows use of one flashing member for different angles of the window, is preferably compressible, expandable or provided with removal indications, such as cutting lines, for allowing an easy removable of a part thereof as well as elastic. A kit including at least one such flashing member may include corner flashing members, gable flashing members, a ridge flashing members and/or supplementary insulating members. The invention further relates to a method for mounting a flashing for a roof window mounted on an upstand, where one or more connector brackets are attached to the window and where the/each flashing member is attached to the window frame via at least one connector bracket.

    摘要: A supporting mechanism for a window screening device comprises a first pair of bracket members for mounting on each of a pair of opposed parallel frame surfaces of the frame structure and a second pair of coupling members engageable by the screening device. Each bracket member and each coupling member comprises an engaging mechanism for releasable sliding engagement of a coupling member with a bracket member. Each bracket member or each coupling member is provided with a resilient mechanism engageable with an abutment of a coupling member or a bracket member to retain the bracket member and the coupling member in mutual engagement. The bracket members are identical standard members each comprising a relatively flat front part protruding from said frame surface and having a substantially smooth external surface and engaging mechanism formed by a pair of opposed parallel side edges. Each coupling member is formed as a substantially flat brick-shaped member provided with an open recess limited by leg portions forming engaging mechanism engageable with the engaging mechanism on the bracket members.
