Abstract: Emulsion-based personal care compositions and methods for preparing the same are provided. The personal care compositions may include an emulsion of a hydrophobic phase and a hydrophilic phase. The hydrophobic phase may include an emulsifying system including a first nonionic surfactant and a second nonionic surfactant, where a weight ratio of the first nonionic surfactant to the second nonionic surfactant is from about 0.9:1 to about 1.1:1.
