摘要: A method for generating a vehicle environment view involves: capturing camera images with vehicle cameras on a vehicle body of a vehicle; and calculating of the vehicle environment view based on the camera images. In the vehicle environment view, a texture of a non-visible region of a ground surface located under the vehicle body and not visible to the vehicle cameras is calculated based on texture data of a visible region of the ground surface that is visible to vehicles cameras and surrounds the non-visible region.

摘要: A camera surround view system for a vehicle is provided. The camera surround view system includes at least one vehicle camera which supplies camera images that are processed by a data processing unit in order to generate an image of the surroundings. The image of the surroundings being displayed on a display unit, where the data processing unit re-projects textures, which are detected by the vehicle cameras, on an adaptive re-projection surface which is similar to the area surrounding the vehicle. The re-projection surface calculated based on sensor data provided by vehicle sensors.

摘要: A method of generating a vehicle environment view for a vehicle, having has the following steps. Camera images are provided by vehicle cameras on the body of the vehicle. A vehicle environment view is calculated based on the camera images. A texture of a ground surface that is located below the vehicle body and is not visible to the cameras, is determined within the vehicle environment view by performing a local color prediction and a movement-compensated texture prediction.

摘要: A vehicle's panoramic view system includes a non-centered real camera that captures an image of surroundings, a virtual camera, an image processing unit, and a display unit that displays a geometric form overlaid over the captured image. The image processing unit projects the captured image onto a first plane perpendicular to the real camera to correct perspective distortions resulting from the camera's non-centered position, and projects the geometric form onto a second plane perpendicular to the virtual camera to represent the geometric form without distortion on the display unit. The image processing unit finds an affine transformation between the first and second planes by delta transformation between the real and virtual cameras, and applies the affine transformation to the first plane containing the projected distortion-corrected captured image, to align a modified representation of the image with the undistorted geometric form in the second plane.

摘要: A device provides improved obstacle identification. A first camera acquires first vehicle image data and provides it to a processing unit. A second camera acquires and provides second vehicle image data. An image overlap region has at least a portion of the first vehicle image data and at least a portion of the second vehicle image data. The first and second vehicle image data extend over a ground plane and the image overlap region extends over an overlap region of the ground plane. The processing unit extracts first image features from the first vehicle image data and extracts second image features from the second vehicle image data. The processing unit projects the first and the second image features onto the ground plane. The processing unit produces at least one image of the surroundings, having either at least a portion of the first vehicle image data associated with the overlap region, or at least a portion of the second vehicle image data associated with the overlap region, based in part on the determination of first image features whose projections lie in the overlap region of the ground plane, and on second image features whose projections lie in the overlap region of the ground plane.
