摘要: The exemplary embodiments relate to a parking assistance system for a vehicle, designed to present surroundings of the vehicle. The parking assistance system can include at least one camera designed to record at least one image. The parking assistance system may use a grid structure to present the surroundings of the vehicle for a user. Additionally, the parking assistance system may have an image evaluation unit designed to determine the relative position and the orientation of another vehicle depicted in the image. Additionally, the image evaluation unit may be designed to adapt a grid structure on the basis of the determined orientation of the other vehicle, with the image being projected onto the adapted grid structure.

摘要: A vehicular video mirror system includes a display device having a video display screen accommodated by a mirror head of an interior rearview mirror assembly. The vehicular video mirror system is operable in a mirror mode or a display mode. A vehicle-mounted rearward-viewing digital camera is disposed at the vehicle and a trailer-mounted rearward-viewing analog camera is disposed at a trailer that is configured to be hitched to the vehicle. With no trailer hitched to the vehicle, and when the vehicular video mirror system operates in the display mode, the video display screen displays video images derived from image data captured by the vehicle-mounted rearward-viewing camera. With the trailer hitched to the vehicle, and when the vehicular video mirror system operates in the display mode, the video display screen displays rearward-view video images derived from image data captured by the trailer-mounted rearward-viewing camera.

摘要: An optical member includes a light guide made of a transparent material. The light guide has: an incident surface; an exit surface having exit portions and flat portions; a smooth surface arranged opposite to the flat portions; an upper surface and a lower surface arranged opposite to each other so as to connect the smooth surface and the exit surface; a first protrusion protruding from the upper surface; and a second protrusion protruding from the lower surface. The flat portions reflect the incident light toward the smooth surface by total reflection. The smooth surface reflects the reflected light reflected by the flat portion toward the exit surface by total reflection. The exit portions emit a part of the incident light or a part of light reflected by the smooth surface to the outside.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for determining a transition between two display images. A two-dimensional initial image is mapped by means of a first and a second mapping function respectively onto a first and a second mapped image and the first and second mapped images are mapped respectively onto a first display image. The initial image is mapped by means of an interpolated mapping function onto an interpolated mapped image in the model space, wherein the interpolated mapped image is determined by interpolation of the first mapped image and the second mapped image as a function of an interpolation parameter. The initial image, mapped by means of the interpolated mapping function onto the interpolated mapped image, is mapped onto an interpolated display image which transitions from the first display image to the second display image through variation of the interpolation parameter.

摘要: A vehicular vision system includes a plurality of cameras mounted at the vehicle and having respective fields of view exterior of the vehicle. The cameras include a video output for transmitting a stream of video to a control via a serial data bus linking the respective camera to the control. The control includes a serial data interface for communication with at least one electronic device of the vehicle. The control sends instructions to the cameras via the respective serial data bus linking the camera to the control. The control activates one of the cameras and deactivates at least one other of the cameras responsive to (i) a user input and/or (ii) a driving condition. Video images derived at least in part from image data captured by the activated camera are displayed at a video display screen of the vehicle for viewing by a driver of the vehicle.
