Abstract: A lighting fixture includes an elongated lens having an inner surface and an outer surface. The lighting fixture further includes a phosphor layer coupled to the inner surface of the elongated lens. The lighting fixture also includes a first reflector and a second reflector. The first reflector is attached to a first side surface of the elongated lens. The first side surface of the elongated lens is between the inner surface and the outer surface on a first elongated side of the lens. The second reflector is attached to a second side surface of the elongated lens. The second side surface of the elongated lens is between the inner surface and the outer surface on a second elongated side of the lens. The elongated lens, the phosphor layer, the first reflector, and the second reflector are extruded or molded as a single piece.

Abstract: A system for mounting a light emitting diode (LED) wave guide down light retrofit fixture. The system can include a mounting plate having a number of apertures symmetrically positioned around a center of the mounting plate. The system can also include at least one fastening device mechanically coupled to an upper surface of the mounting plate using at least a first aperture of the apertures, where the at least one fastening device mechanically couples to a base of an existing fixture. The system can further include a coupling device mechanically coupled to a lower surface of the mounting plate. The system can also include a trim assembly having a frame and a LED light source mechanically coupled to the frame. The frame can have a coupling feature disposed on a top surface of the frame, where the coupling feature mechanically couples to the coupling device.

Abstract: An end cap for a light fixture is described herein. The end cap can include a body having at least one wall and at least one coupling feature, where the at least one wall has an inner surface and an outer surface, and where the at least one coupling feature is configured to couple the body to another component of the light fixture. The end cap can also include a first knockout disposed in the at least one wall, where the first knockout is configured to be removed to generate a first aperture in the at least one wall, where the first aperture is configured to receive a first electrical enclosure. The end cap can further include a second knockout disposed in the at least one wall, where the second knockout is configured to be removed to generate a second aperture in the at least one wall.

Abstract: A linkable linear light emitting diode (LED) system provides apparatus and method for mechanically, optically, and electrically linking multiple LED modules disposed over a wide and separated area of a ceiling system. Openings can be cut in ceiling tiles of a drop ceiling system and the LED lighting modules are coupled to the tile through the opening, with the tile being sandwiched between different portions of the module. A remote driver system is placed within the drop ceiling above the tiles and provide multiple connectors for powering a multitude of lighting modules. Certain of the LED lighting modules include both input and output connectors for both receiving power or data and providing power or data to other modules. In this manner, some of the modules act as master LED lighting modules and those receiving power and/or data therefrom are act as slave modules.

Abstract: A lighting system can comprise an edgelit panel, for example a lightguide that may have a panel or slab shape with an edge that receives light from an array of light emitting diodes extending along the edge. The lightguide can guide the received light towards an opposing edge of the lightguide and gradually release light to provide illumination. An optic can manage light that reaches the opposing edge of the lightguide, for example via softening, spreading, concentrating, or diffusing the light. Abstract: A recessed light fixture includes an LED module, which includes a single LED package that is configured to generate all light emitted by the recessed light fixture. For example, the LED package can include multiple LEDs mounted to a common substrate. The LED package can be coupled to a heat sink for dissipating heat from the LEDs. The heat sink can include a core member. A reflector housing may be coupled to the heat sink and configured to receive a reflector. The reflector can have any geometry, such as a bell-shaped geometry including two radii of curvature that join together at an inflection point. An optic coupler can be coupled to the reflector housing and configured to cover electrical connections at the substrate and to guide light emitted by the LED package.
