Abstract: A backlight module includes a light source, a first prism sheet disposed on the light source, and a light type adjustment sheet disposed on a side of the first prism sheet away from the light source and including a base and multiple light type adjustment structures. The multiple light type adjustment structures are disposed on the first surface of the base. Each light type adjustment structure has a first structure surface and a second structure surface connected to each other. The first structure surface of each light type adjustment structure and the first surface of the base form a first base angle therebetween, and the second structure surface of each light type adjustment structure and the first surface of the base form a second base angle therebetween. The angle of the first base angle is different from the angle of the second base angle.

Abstract: A backlight module includes a light guide member, a first light source, a second light source, a plurality of first optical microstructures, and a plurality of second optical microstructures. The light guide member has a first light incident surface and an adjacent second light incident surface. The first light source is disposed at one side of the first light incident surface and is configured to generate a first light beam. The second light source is disposed at one side of the second light incident surface and is configured to generate a second light beam. The first and the second optical microstructures are disposed at the light guide member and are configured to reflect the first and the second light beams. The reflected first light beam has a first light emitting angle range without a normal viewing angle range. A display apparatus using the backlight module is also provided.

Abstract: A display apparatus including a display panel and a light source module is provided. The display panel displays an image frame according to a light beam. The light source module provides the light beam to the display panel. The light source module includes a light emitting device, a lens module, a reflection device, and a light emitting surface. The light emitting device provides the light beam. The lens module is disposed in a transmission path of the light beam and adjusts the light beam to be focused or dispersed. The reflection device receives the light beam passing from the lens module and reflects the light beam to the light emitting surface. The lens module includes a lens disposed in the transmission path of the light beam and moves relative to the light emitting device to adjust a viewing angle of the light emitting surface.

Abstract: A head-up display system includes a display unit and a reflective element. The display unit having a first and a second display areas includes a display panel, a first light source module, and a second light source module. The display panel has a first and a second pixel areas. The first and the second light source modules respectively provide a first and a second light sources. The first light source corresponds to the first pixel area to make the first display area display a first image frame. The second light source corresponds to the second pixel area to make the second display area display a second image frame. The reflective element is located on a transmission path of the first image frame and not located on a transmission path of the second image frame, and reflects the first image frame from the first display area to a target element.

An included angle between an extending direction of prism structures of each of two optical brightness enhancement films of the backlight module and a viewing angle control direction of the display apparatus is less than 45 degrees. A method of driving the display apparatus is provided.

Abstract: A light source module includes a substrate, a reflective sheet, a plurality of light-emitting elements, an adhesive layer, and a frame. The reflective sheet is disposed on the substrate and has a side wall, a protrusion and a plurality of openings. The protrusion is protruded in a direction away from the substrate and has a mesh structure to define a plurality of dimming areas. The plurality of openings respectively correspond to the plurality of dimming areas. The plurality of light-emitting elements are disposed on the substrate, and the plurality of light-emitting elements are respectively disposed to pass through the plurality of openings. The adhesive layer is disposed between the substrate and the reflective sheet. The frame surrounds the reflective sheet and the plurality of light-emitting elements. The side wall of the reflective sheet is disposed on the frame. A display device of the invention is further provided.
