    摘要: A shader program capable of execution on a GPU is analyzed for constant expressions. These constant expressions are replaced with references to registers or memory addresses on the GPU. A preshader is created that comprises two executable files. The first executable file contains the shader program with the each constant expression removed and replaced with a unique reference accessible by the GPU. The first file is executable at the GPU. A second file contains the removed constant expressions along with instructions to place the values generated at the associated reference. The second executable file is executable at a CPU. When the preshader is executed, an instance of the first file is executed at the GPU for each vertex or pixel that is displayed. One instance of the second file is executed at the CPU. As the preshader is executed, the constant expressions in the second file are evaluated and the resulting intermediate values are passed to each instance of the first file on the GPU.

At plurality of flight information is received over a digital network and is stored in at least a database. The database includes aviation information as well as aviation related content and advertisements. The user is able to customize a series of screen layouts for display using a combination of screen segments containing content stored at least partially in the database. In addition, the user may create personalized messages and status update for display in response to a variety of flight conditions. In one form, the results may be presented using a large display monitor by an aircraft service provider. Additionally, the display may include only flight tracking information relevant to recent and future customers.

    摘要: A clipper or shearing mechanism for separating a produce item such as an apple from the plant upon which it has grown such as an apple tree is disclosed. The mechanism provides a stem separating or severing mechanism comprising at least two mutually movable elements adapted to engage and sever the stem of the produce item. A trigger can be provided to actuate the stem severing mechanism. If desired, a mounting mechanism for mounting the severing elements in a predetermined position relative to a produce intake element can be provided as well. The mechanism can also be provided with crushing mechanisms to crush and soften an exposed portion of the produce item stem. The crushed stem will be less likely to poke and consequently damage adjacent produce items.

    摘要: A flexible timebase for eye diagrams uses a stable free running oscillator as a sample clock for equivalent time sampling of an input serial digital signal and of a reference signal, such as a sine wave, derived from a subdivided recovered clock of the input serial digital signal. The reference signal samples are provided to a digital phase-locked loop that provides the flexible timebase to an eye pattern generator. The eye pattern generator accumulates the input serial digital signal samples at times corresponding to the reference signal samples to produce the eye diagram. A linear phase detector in the digital phase locked loop converts the reference signal samples to a complex signal using a Hilbert transform and then to a linear ramp of phase values using a CORDIC algorithm with arctangent lookup table. A subtractor is then used to subtract the digital phase-locked loop feedback from the linear ramp to provide the input to the loop filter.

    摘要: The Rivet Pattern Pitch Gauge is a tool designed to properly space rivets or other fasteners in an aircraft skin repair. The tool consists of a straight edge with measure markings, a row of teeth set at a forty-five degree angle, and a corner that has a half inch radius gauge built in. The tool uses the teeth, which are six times the diameter of the fastener in height and length, to evenly space the fasteners when laying out the aircraft skin repair. It is this spacing coupled with the forty-five degree angled teeth that allow for accurate and quick repair layouts and that differentiate the Rivet Pattern Pitch Gauge from other fastener spacing tools.
