Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for generating text caption information for an audio-video (AV) signal, the systems and method comprising: receiving an AV signal; extracting audio from the AV signal to form an extracted audio signal; time stamping both the extracted audio signal and the received AV signal; partitioning the extracted audio signal into a first predetermined duration segment of extracted audio signal; generating text captions from the partitioned extracted audio signal over a first duration, and converting the same to a video text signal, with the same time stamp as the extracted audio signal and received AV signal; delaying the received AV signal by an amount of time substantially similar to the first duration; combining the time stamped video text signal and the delayed time stamped received AV signal based on the time stamps; and outputting the combined time stamped video text signal and the time stamped received AV signal to a display.

Abstract: A local workspace access system is associated with a local workspace, reads badge data, and transmits the badge data. A workspace personalization management system receives the badge data, locates an organization associated with the badge data, and transmits the badge data to its associated organization. A server associated with the organization receives the badge data, locates a member of the organization who is associated with the badge data, and transmits the workspace configuration associated with the member to the workspace personalization management system. The workspace personalization management system transmits a keyable code to a messaging service device of the member and transmits the keyable code and the workspace configuration associated with the member to the local workspace access system. The local workspace access system receives member input of the keyable code, and verifies that the inputted keyable code matches the keyable code received from the workspace personalization management system.

Abstract: Badge data is read by a local workspace access system associated with a local workspace. An organization associated with the badge data is located, and the badge data is transmitted to the organization. A server associated with the organization receives the badge data, locates a member of the organization associated with the badge data, and transmits the workspace configuration associated with the member. A keyable code is transmitted to a messaging service device of the member, and the keyable code and the workspace configuration are transmitted to the local workspace access system. Member input of the keyable code is received by the local workspace access system which verifies that the inputted keyable code matches the keyable code received. In response to the verification, the workspace configuration is requested and received, the local workspace is configured based on the received workspace configuration and is activated for use by the member.

Abstract: A microphone array configurable to connect via an Ethernet connection with an audio processor includes a plurality of MEMS microphones (7101-7121), a plurality of sigma-delta modulators (7201-7221), a processor and storage (90), and an Ethernet physical interface (80) operating at a network data transmission rate. Each sigma-delta modulator converts the analog output of a corresponding microphone into a bit stream at an audio sampling rate. The processor and storage performs a data-interleaving operation (92) to combine the bit streams from the sigma-delta modulators into a microphone audio frame serial bit stream (34), and loads the microphone audio frame serial bit stream into a FIFO memory (94) at a FIFO serial data load rate. The processor and storage computes an Ethernet FCS checksum on the microphone audio frame serial bit stream, concatenates, an FCS delay gap, the Ethernet FCS checksum, a timing gap, a frame prefix, a UDP/IP prefix, a payload, and the microphone audio frame serial bit stream to form an Ethernet frame packet serial bit stream, unloads this Ethernet packet serial bit stream from the FIFO memory at the network data transmission rate and transmits the Ethernet frame packet serial bit stream from the Ethernet physical interface.
