    摘要: Row unit coupling devices for securing a pair of row units to an agricultural implement. The row unit coupling devices can be pivotally coupled to the tool bar, and/or utilize a biasing element. Further, the row unit coupling devices can arrange the pair of row units in a partial overlapping side-by-side arrangement where one row unit extends further upstream than the other row unit. Such an arrangement allows wider regions of at least neighboring pairs of row units to be offset from each other, thereby accommodating closer placement of the row units, which can facilitate narrower crop row spacing. The row unit coupling devices also accommodate differences in the vertical position and/or angular orientations at least between the pair of row units, which can facilitate the row units being maintained in an orientation at which seeds are planted in a direction that is generally perpendicular to the ground surface.

A first tool of a center frame can be separated from an adjacent second tool of the wing frame that is attached to the outer tube by a first distance when the outer tube is at a retracted position, and a second distance when the outer tube is slidingly displaced in response to the downward pivotal displacement of the inner tube, the first distance being about equal to the second distance. The wing flex assembly can also prevent contact between the first and second tools when the inner tube is pivotally displaced in an upward direction.

    摘要: An agricultural planting system comprises an implement configured to be coupled to a work machine, row units of the implement, and first and second pairs of wheels configured to pivot and rotate to facilitate a turning operation during forward travel of the planting system. The row units are arranged in first and second ranks depending on their forward-aft placement. Furrow openers of the first rank of row units are configured to contact the ground along a first contact line, and furrow openers of the second rank of row units are configured to contact the ground along a second contact line. During a turning operation, the implement turns about a turning center axis, and the first and second pairs of wheels pivot in opposite directions, which allows the first and second contact lines to remain equidistant from the turning center axis during the turn.
