    Abstract: The present invention provides an extraction cassette, which includes an extraction module and a liquid receiving module. The liquid receiving module communicates with the extraction module. The liquid receiving module includes a receiving module body, a sample compartment, a sealing member, an alcohol compartment and a first path. The receiving module body includes a first side, a second side and a sample feeding hole. The sample compartment is formed on the receiving module body. The sample compartment communicates with the sample feeding hole, the sample compartment includes a first sample compartment connection hole and a second sample compartment connection hole. The sealing member is adapted to seal the sample feeding hole. The alcohol compartment is formed on the receiving module body. The alcohol compartment communicates with the first sample compartment connection hole of the first sample compartment via the first path.

    Abstract: A nucleic acid detection device includes tube holders, an illumination module, a detection module and a driving module. The tube holders accommodates tubes, each containing a reagent and a magnetizable element. The illumination module includes light sources, a magnet and a casing, and the light sources and the magnet are installed on the casing. The driving module includes a motor, a lead screw and a slider. The lead screw is coupled to the motor and driven by the motor to rotate, and the slider is sleeved on the lead screw and has a reciprocating linear motion in response to a rotation of the lead screw. The illumination module is coupled to and moved together with the slider, so that the light sources and the magnet are synchronously driven by the motor and have reciprocating linear motions in a direction parallel to the lead screw. The magnetizable element in the tube maintains at a first position when the magnet is not aligned with the tube, while when the magnet is aligned with the tube, the magnetizable element is attracted by the magnet to move from the first position to a second position, thereby mixing the reagent in the tube.

    Abstract: An optical calibration tool includes a first body, a light emitter, a light receiver, a second body, and a light reflecting member. The first body has a first engaging port and a second engaging port. The light emitter and the light receiver are disposed in the first body. The second body has a third engaging port and a channel communicated with each other. The third engaging port is configured to selectively engage one of the first engaging port and the second engaging port. When the third engaging port is engaged with the first engaging port, the light emitter is optically coupled to the light reflecting member. When the third engaging port is engaged with the second engaging port, the light receiver is optically coupled to the light reflecting member.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an extraction cassette, which includes an extraction module. The extraction module includes an extraction module body, an expansion compartment, a reaction compartment, a filter, a collection compartment, a first waste-liquid compartment and a second waste-liquid compartment. The expansion compartment is formed on the extraction module body. The reaction compartment includes a reaction compartment inlet, a reaction compartment outlet and a reaction compartment notch, the expansion compartment is connected to the reaction compartment notch, and the reaction compartment notch is located between the reaction compartment inlet and the reaction compartment outlet. The filter is disposed in the reaction compartment and corresponding to the reaction compartment outlet. The collection compartment communicates with the reaction compartment outlet. The first waste-liquid compartment communicates with the reaction compartment outlet. The second waste-liquid compartment communicates with the reaction compartment outlet.

    Abstract: A microscale sampling device including a frame is provided in the present invention, a sample container, a communicating channel and a resistance channel are defined in the frame. At least one sampling chamber is defined in the communicating channel. An end of the communicating channel is communicated with the sample container and the communicating channel is arranged below the sample container. An end of the resistance channel is communicated with the sampling chamber, and the other end of the resistance channel is communicated to an output joint. The resistance channel is shaped with at least one discontinuous shape change.
