Abstract: In a control device including a control unit that controls an EPU for powering a rotor included in an electric aircraft, the EPU includes a motor, an inverter, a control circuit, and a first sensor that detects an operation-related value. If there is no a sudden change in the operation-related value detected by the first sensor, the control unit controls the EPU based on the operation-related value detected by the first sensor. When the sudden change occurs, the control unit stops using the operation-related value detected by the first sensor to control the EPU. After the occurrence of the sudden change, when the sudden change ends before a predetermined period elapses, the control unit resumes using the operation-related value detected by the first sensor to control the EPU, and when the sudden change has not ended, the control unit continues the stoppage.

Abstract: A control apparatus, which controls a drive motor that drives a rotor installed in an electrical aircraft, instructs the drive motor to selectively operate in at least two motor-control modes. The at least two motor-control modes include a flying motor-control mode for causing the electrical aircraft to fly, and a cleaning motor-control mode for cleaning the rotor. The control apparatus controls, in the cleaning motor-control mode, the drive motor such that a rotational frequency of the drive motor is lower than a predetermined human-audible frequency range.

Abstract: A flight control device performs a flight control process for causing an eVTOL to fly. In a step of the flight control process, the flight control device determines whether the eVTOL is capable of maintaining a stable attitude. In the step, it is determined whether the eVTOL is capable of maintaining the stable attitude even if driving of an abnormal motor is stopped. In the step, it is determined whether the eVTOL is capable of maintaining the stable attitude even if the abnormal motor continues driving. When it is determined that the eVTOL is capable of maintaining the stable attitude, the flight control device performs output adjustment of at least one of a normal motor and the abnormal motor to maintain the eVTOL at the stable attitude.
