    Abstract: A transmission control device, which drives multiple antennas having different transmission ranges, includes: a genuine transmission control unit that transmits, from a genuine transmission antenna with use of a carrier wave, a genuine code for activating a portable device; and an inversion transmission control unit that transmits, from an inversion transmission antenna with use of a carrier wave, an inversion code including at least partial inverted genuine code concurrently with a transmission of the genuine code from the genuine transmission antenna. The inversion transmission antenna has a transmission range which does not overlap with a transmission range of the genuine transmission antenna.

    Abstract: A vehicle control apparatus is mounted in a vehicle and controls the vehicle. The vehicle control apparatus detects an obstacle that is present inside a grade crossing that intersects a traveling course of the vehicle, using a detection result of a sensor that is mounted in the vehicle. The vehicle control apparatus identifies a position and size of the obstacle using a detection result of the vehicle control apparatus, and calculates a clearance in a direction that intersects the traveling course when the vehicle crosses the grade crossing, using the identified position and size of the obstacle. The vehicle control apparatus determines whether the vehicle is able to pass through the grade crossing based on the calculated clearance.

    Abstract: A driving assistance device includes a lane change detection unit, a lane identification unit, a first space determination unit, an operation control unit. The lane identification unit identifies an original lane and a destination lane by using a detection result obtained by a boundary detection unit that detects a first boundary and a second boundary. The first boundary is a boundary between the original lane and the destination lane, and the second boundary is a boundary that defines the original lane and is located on a side opposite to the first boundary. When it is detected that the own vehicle is scheduled to perform a lane change and it is determined that the passable space is present, the operation control unit causes the own vehicle to perform a lateral movement operation before the lane change is performed. The lateral movement operation causes the own vehicle to approach the destination lane.
