Abstract: A pedal device includes a pedal, a rotatable shaft, a cover and a housing main body. The rotatable shaft includes a first projection and a second projection. A first bearing rotatably supports the first projection. A second bearing rotatably supports the second projection. The pedal is supported by the rotatable shaft to enable rotation of the pedal relative to a housing. The cover and the housing main body are fixed relative to each other in an adjusted state where a position of the cover and a position of the housing main body are adjusted such that a radial position of a central axis of the first bearing and a radial position of a central axis of the second bearing coincide with each other.

Abstract: The intake system has a valve seat, a plate valve, and an elastic sealing member. A path is provided to pass through the valve seat and to communicate with an intake passage of an internal combustion engine. The plate valve fits to or separates from the valve seat to close or open the path. The plate valve is provided with through holes passing through the plate valve in the thickness direction at a valve periphery part. The through holes are arranged linearly one after another in a peripheral direction of the plate valve to be offset to each other in the direction perpendicular to the peripheral direction. The elastic sealing member includes an elastic covering part that covers a first surface and a second surface of the plate valve and elastic coupling parts that are disposed in the through holes and are coupled with the elastic covering part at the first surface and the second surface.

Abstract: In a pedal device, a first elastic member is deformed in accordance with a sliding operation of a first guide of a first holder in a vehicle longitudinal direction with a second guide of a second holder by a force from a pedal when the pedal rotates. Further, due to the force from the pedal when the pedal rotates, a second elastic member is deformed in accordance with a sliding operation of the second guide in the vehicle longitudinal direction with a third guide of a guide member. Further, the first guide and the second guide are made to restrict movement in a vehicle vertical direction. In addition, the second holder and the third guide are made to mutually restrict movement in the vehicle vertical direction.

Abstract: A rotary valve body has a first passage and changes a communication state between the first passage and a second passage. A housing has the second passage and defines a valve chamber in which a valve body is accommodated and in which the second passage is opened. A sealing member having a third passage is compressed between an outer surface of the valve body and an inner wall surface defining the valve chamber. The sealing member is in pressure contact with the outer surface of the valve body and the inner wall surface defining the valve chamber at a peripheral edge of an opening on one side of the third passage and at a peripheral edge of an opening on the other side, respectively. A diameter of the third passage is maximized at one of the opening on one side and the opening on the other side.
