Abstract: An air intake device includes a supercharger, a connection tube, an intercooler, and an intake manifold. The supercharger is connected to an exhaust port of a cylinder. The intercooler is connected to the supercharger through the connection tube. The intake manifold is connected to the intercooler and an intake port of the cylinder. The intercooler is located above a cylinder head of an engine. The device of the present disclosure features less height space occupation, a short connection tubeline between elements and a compact structure, which is beneficial for an increase of the pressurization response speed and reduction in the cost.

Abstract: An air supply device for an internal combustion engine may include at least one air chamber and at least two intake pipes, which are connected to the at least one air chamber. The intake pipes may each be designed to supply air to respective cylinders of the internal combustion engine, and they each may have intake pipe end portion assigned to a corresponding inlet opening. Via the inlet openings, air can move from an air chamber interior of the at least one air chamber into respective intake pipe interiors of the at least two intake pipes and also via the intake pipe interiors to the cylinders. The intake pipe end portions may end in the air chamber interior and overlap in at least one direction, which is oriented perpendicularly to at least one center axis of at least one of the intake pipe end portions at a common overlapping region.

Abstract: A marine engine assembly for mounting to a watercraft is disclosed. The marine engine assembly has an engine unit, an exhaust system fluidly and a propulsion device. The engine unit includes an engine unit housing, an internal combustion engine and an air intake assembly. The air intake assembly, at least one combustion chamber, and the exhaust system together defining at least in part a gas flow pathway. A sealing valve is provided in the gas flow pathway. The sealing valve has an open position permitting flow of gas therethrough. The sealing valve has a closed position preventing flow of gas therethrough for sealing a portion of the gas flow pathway downstream of the sealing valve from a portion of the gas flow pathway upstream of the sealing valve. An air pump is configured for supplying air to the gas flow pathway downstream of the sealing valve.

Abstract: A supercharger structure for an all terrain vehicle or a utility vehicle includes an engine body and a supercharging device. The engine body includes a cylinder having an intake passage and an outtake passage. The supercharging device includes a supercharger, a throttle, an intake manifold, and at least one nozzle. The supercharger includes a chamber having an inlet coupled with the throttle and an outlet connected to the intake manifold. The intake manifold and the at least one nozzle intercommunicate with the intake passage. The at least one nozzle is connected to a fuel supply pipe of a vehicle. External air is drawn in by a guiding device in the chamber, flows through the throttle and the inlet into the chamber, and is pressurized. The pressurized air flows through the intake manifold to mix with fuel ejected by the at least one nozzle and then enters the cylinder.

Abstract: An engine assembly including an internal combustion engine configured to be received in an engine compartment and a heat exchanger having a first conduit fluidly connected to a fluid circuitry of the engine and a second conduit fluidly connecting an interior of the engine compartment to its environment. The first conduit is in heat exchange relationship with the second conduit. The assembly further includes a forced air system operable in use to provide an air flow from the environment to the outlet via the second conduit of the heat exchanger and the engine compartment. The assembly further includes a selector valve configurable to selectively fluidly connect an air intake of the internal combustion engine with the interior of the engine compartment in a first valve position and with the environment in a second valve position. A method for supplying air to an internal combustion engine is also discussed.

The openings fluidically connect the housing interior to the duct. The first sealing ring bears against the electromagnetic actuator.

Abstract: An apparatus for improving cooling performance of an engine room in a vehicle, may include an air duct connected to an air cleaner to serve as a moving guide of fresh air; a duct flap installed to open and close some section of the air duct and operated to supply all the fresh air introduced into the air duct when the air duct is in a closed state to the air cleaner and discharge some of the fresh air introduced into the air duct when the air duct is in an opened state to a space of a high temperature part of the engine room; and an actuator supplying power to the duct flap to perform an opening and closing operation of the duct flap.
