Abstract: A tubular member is provided between an inner wall of a hole portion in a fixed member and a shaft. A predetermined gap is provided between an inner wall of the tubular member on a radial inside thereof and the shaft, so that the shaft is rotatable around an axis with respect to the tubular member. On the other hand, the inner wall of the hole portion and the tubular member are fixed to each other. When a load is applied to a predetermined position of a brake pedal, where a driver can apply a pedaling force in a stuck state in which the tubular member and the shaft are stuck together, a torque that releases fixation between the inner wall of the hole portion and the tubular member is greater than 0, and is smaller than a damaging torque that damages at least a part of the brake pedal device.

Abstract: In a brake pedal device, a brake pedal is connected to a casing with a posture changeable by a brake operation of a driver, and includes an operation unit that is pressed by a driver. A reaction force generating unit is provided inside the casing, and the reaction force generating unit is configured to generate a reaction force with respect to the brake pedal in accordance with an amount of change in the posture of the brake pedal during the brake operation, and to cause the brake pedal to return to a reference position when the brake operation is released. A sensor unit is provided outside the casing, to detect an amount of change in the posture of the brake pedal, and a sensor protector is provided at the casing in a position away from the brake pedal, to cover at least a part of the sensor unit.

Abstract: A turbocharger includes a first bypass opening which introduces an exhaust gas from a first exhaust scroll to a downstream area downstream of the turbine impeller, and a second bypass opening which introduces the exhaust gas from a second exhaust scroll to the downstream area. The turbocharger further includes a waste gate valve opens and closes both the first bypass opening and the second bypass opening at the same time. Thus, the waste gate valve can function even though the switch valve is completely closed. Since the exhaust gas is introduced toward the downstream area via both the first bypass opening and the second bypass opening, a pressure loss is restricted and an exhaust pressure of the exhaust gas can be restricted. Further, a turbine efficiency can be improved.

Abstract: An organ-type pedal device includes a housing, a shaft, a pedal pad, and a sensor unit. The housing is attached to a vehicle body. Abstract: A brake system includes a brake device, a brake circuit that generates a braking force for braking a vehicle, ECU that controls the braking force generated by the brake circuit according to a stroke amount of the brake pedal, and a user interface. When the first mode is selected, the ECU executes normal control for controlling the braking force generated by the brake circuit based on a basic characteristics which is a basic relationship between the stroke amount of the brake pedal and the braking force. When the second mode is selected, the ECU executes an automatic braking force control when the stroke amount is between a first threshold value and the second threshold value after the stroke amount of the brake pedal increases and reaches a predetermined set value. The ECU executes normal control when the stroke amount of the brake pedal becomes larger than the second threshold value.
