    Abstract: A bus bar module equipped with current sensors is provided. The module includes a plurality of bus bars, a current sensor, and shield plates. The current sensor is formed of a magneto-resistive element. The plurality of bus bars are arrayed along a width direction (X direction) of the bus bars that is at right angles to both the thickness direction (Z direction) and the extension direction (Y direction) of the bus bars. The current sensor is arranged being spaced apart from the bus bars, while being adjacent to the bus bars in the Z direction. The bus bars and the current sensor are covered from both sides in the Z direction, by the shield plates.

    Abstract: An electric power converter includes a semiconductor module, a cooler, and a pair of direct current bus bars. The direct current bus bars are connected to the semiconductor. The direct current bus bars serve as current paths between the direct current power supply and the switching element. The cooler is made of metal, and is electrically connected to ground. A proximal bypass capacitor is formed close to the switching element by a heat radiating plate integrated with the semiconductor module, the cooler, and an insulating layer interposed between them. The electric power converter further includes a pair of distal bypass capacitors, each of which has a larger capacitance than the proximal bypass capacitor has, and has a current path to the switching element of which a length is longer than a current path to the switching element from the proximal bypass capacitor.

    Abstract: An electric power converter includes a semiconductor module and a DC bus bar. The semiconductor module includes a main body portion having a built-in semiconductor element therein and a DC terminal to which a DC voltage is applied projecting from the main body portion. A DC bus bar is connected to the DC terminal. The DC bus bar is disposed such that a thickness direction of the DC bus bar matches a projecting direction of the DC terminal. The penetrating portion penetrating the projecting direction is formed in the DC bus bar. The DC terminal is connected to the DC bus bar in a state where at least a part of the DC terminal is disposed in a position that can be seen from the penetrating portion when viewed from the projection direction. The penetrating portion is formed in a hole shape.
