Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes an image processing section periodically performing image processing for a periodically captured image, a diagnosing section comparing an image processing result obtained from diagnostic image data with an expected value data which indicates a reference for a normal processing result of image processing of the diagnostic image data and determining whether the image processing result obtained from the diagnostic image data is normal, by making the image processing section perform image processing for the diagnostic image data which is directly accessible by the image processing section in parallel with image processing periodically performed by the image processing section for the captured image, and an output controlling section outputting the processing result of image processing for the captured image as valid to a control section on condition that the image processing result obtained from the diagnostic image data is determined as normal by the diagnosing section.

Abstract: In a vehicular camera, an image generation unit generates at least one image of a directional view from a vehicle, and an object recognition unit recognizes a target object in the at least one image. A region identification unit identifies, in the at least one image, a specific region in the target object recognized by the object recognition unit. A vehicle control unit performs a vehicle control task based on the recognized target object. A mosaic unit identifies a specific region in the at least one image corresponding to the specific region in the at least one image, and performs a mosaic task to thereby blur a mosaic region in the second image. Abstract: A signal processing apparatus includes a recording unit, an operation unit, a processing unit and an abnormality detector. The recording unit records configuration data therein. The operation unit performs arithmetic and logical operations on an input signal and outputs an operation signal indicative of the result of the operations.
