Abstract: A monitoring apparatus is provided for monitoring voltages of a plurality of battery cells. The battery cells are electrically connected in series with each other and each include a pair of electrode terminals. The monitoring apparatus includes a flexible substrate, a monitoring circuit and a plurality of noise removal elements. The flexible substrate has a plurality of wiring patterns formed thereon. The wiring patterns are electrically connected with the electrode terminals of the battery cells. The monitoring circuit is electrically connected with the electrode terminals of the battery cells via the wiring patterns and configured to monitor the voltages of the battery cells inputted thereto via the wiring patterns. The noise removal elements are provided in monitoring circuit-side parts of the wiring patterns to remove noise inputted to the wiring patterns.

Abstract: A vehicular power supply system includes a sensor unit that detects a battery state of a storage battery and a control unit that performs instruction to perform energization and interruption thereof between the storage battery and the electrical load based on the battery state. The sensor unit includes a detection unit that detects the battery state of the storage battery, a switch drive unit that performs drive control of a switch unit provided between the storage battery and the electrical load, and a control unit that controls the switch drive unit. The control unit switches between the energization and interruption thereof between the storage battery and the electrical load. If determining an abnormality, the control unit determines whether to maintain the energization between the storage battery and the electrical load based on the battery state and switches between the energization and interruption thereof based on the determination.

Abstract: A battery monitoring apparatus that monitors a temperature of a battery includes a temperature detecting unit, a power supply, a limiting unit, a temperature acquiring unit, and determining unit. The temperature detecting unit is provided for the battery. Resistance of the temperature detecting unit changes with temperature. The power supply applies a voltage to the temperature detecting unit. The limiting unit limits the application of voltage to the temperature detecting unit from the power supply. When the limiting unit is not limiting the application of voltage, the temperature acquiring unit determines the temperature of the battery based on a voltage-drop amount in the temperature detecting unit. When the limiting unit is limiting the application of voltage, the determining unit makes a determination regarding a short circuit between the temperature detecting unit and the battery based on the voltage applied to the temperature detecting unit.
