摘要: The disclosure provides a battery pack management system, which includes a plurality of battery packs for supplying a power to a load, a plurality of battery interfaces, a plurality of switching units, a control assembly and a plurality of communication units. Each of the battery packs is electrically connected in parallel by the battery interfaces. The switching units are electrically connected to the battery interfaces and the battery packs through the battery interfaces are electrically connected to the switching units. The control assembly detects a voltage level of each battery pack and determines the battery packs having a first highest priority level through the voltage level detected. The communication unit is electrically connected to the battery packs and the load, and the switching units is closed by the control assembly through the information for supplying the power to the load by the battery packs having the highest priority level.

摘要: An inrush current protection circuit for a solid state lighting fixture is provided. The inrush current protection circuit includes one or more current limiting devices and one or more switching devices coupled in parallel with the one or more current limiting devices. The one or more switching devices are configured in a first state when the solid state lighting fixture draws an inrush current from a power source. The inrush current is provided to the one or more current limiting devices when the one or more switching devices are in the first state. The one or more switching devices are configured in a second state when the solid state lighting fixture draws a steady-state current from the power source. The steady-state current bypasses the one or more current limiting devices when the one or more switching devices are in the second state.

摘要: A battery charging apparatus includes a battery charger having a housing and a battery mount plate for charging the battery. A contact block of the battery mount plate includes an electrical terminal configured to provide a charging voltage to the battery. The battery can operate in a first state in which the battery delivers a first delivery voltage or in a second state in which the battery delivers a second and higher delivery voltage. The battery can be charged in the first state or the second state. The battery charger switches the battery between the first state and the second state in which power is provided to the battery through the electrical terminal at the second and higher charging voltage to charge the battery.

摘要: A battery pack 1 includes: a first module block 5 and a second module block 6 arranged side-by-side; and a connection switching circuit 7 including a series-connection switching element 8 and parallel-connection switching elements 9 and 10 configured to selectively switch connection between the first and second module blocks between a series connection and a parallel connection. In the connection switching circuit, the series-connection switching element is provided at a midpoint in the series connection and located at an inner side of an area where the module blocks are disposed in the battery pack in a top view of this area, and terminals of the modules in the first and second module blocks 5 and 6 are connected to the connection switching circuit and located close to the connection switching circuit, thereby capable of simplifying the layout of the switching circuit for changing the connection status of the module blocks.

摘要: The battery string is configured so that a plurality of battery circuit modules can be connected in series. The drive circuit SU5 from the drive circuit SU0 of the battery circuit module transmits a gate signal for ON/OFF of the switch to the downstream drive circuit SU while delaying the gate signal by a predetermined delay time Td. When a particular battery circuit module (drive circuit SU4 in FIG. 4) is passed through, the delay time is switched from the delay time Td to the delay time Tds. The delay time Tds is longer than the delay time Td. As a result, the period of the gate signal, which is the “delay time×the number of battery circuit modules to be operated”, can be suppressed from becoming short (the increase in frequency can be suppressed), and an increase in loss can be suppressed.

When the first switch is off, a first controlled terminal of the second switch is electrically connected to a second controlled terminal of the second switch, and when the first circuit is on, the first circuit and the second circuit are configured to supply power to two batteries. When the first switch is on, the first controlled terminal of the second switch is electrically connected to the third controlled terminal of the second switch, and when the first circuit is off, both the batteries supply power to the outside through the second circuit.

摘要: Two or more batteries may be in a switching para-series circuit arrangement where a set of batteries are connected, in both parallel and series arrangement in two independent phases, using fast switching devices, where the output to the load is the average voltage based on the duty cycles. Renewable energy power source such as solar panels may be coupled with batteries in parallel connection in a first phase and the same batteries connected in series to the load in a second phase, using transistor switches that, first, enables simultaneous charging and discharging of the batteries, and second, enables voltage shifting from the solar panel, as the additional batteries in series provide the required voltage to the load and where the duty cycles of charging and discharging is adjustable to convert the voltage waveform.
