摘要: There is provided a radar device. A detection vehicle velocity acquiring unit is configured to acquire a detection vehicle velocity detected on the basis of rotation of a wheel. A relative velocity calculating unit is configured to calculate the relative velocity of a still object. A correction value calculating unit is configured to calculate a first correction value on the basis of the detection vehicle velocity and the relative velocity of the still object obtained in a CW mode and calculate a second correction value on the basis of the detection vehicle velocity and the relative velocity of the still object obtained in a FM-CW mode. A vehicle velocity correcting unit is configured to correct the detection vehicle velocity using at least one of the first correction value and the second correction value.

摘要: A radar apparatus detects objects in a vicinity of a host vehicle on which the radar apparatus is mounted. The radar apparatus includes a microcomputer configured to operate as a prediction processor that calculates a prediction position of a previously detected target in a current detection cycle and an extrapolation processor that executes an extrapolation to determine that a same target as the previously detected target exists in the prediction position for the current detection cycle. The extrapolation processor executes the extrapolation when the prediction position is outside a detection range of the radar apparatus and a speed of the host vehicle is lower than a predetermined value.

摘要: A radar apparatus includes: a detection portion that transmits a radio wave to a target and receives a radio wave reflected on the target so as to detect instantaneous data; and an allocation portion that allocates the instantaneous data to prediction data of the target so as to take continuity of the target; and the allocation portion corrects velocity of the instantaneous data and velocity of the prediction data respectively as velocities made in line with a predetermined direction set as a reference, so as to allocate the instantaneous data to the prediction data based on at least magnitudes of the respectively corrected velocities.
