To allow the strength of the form body to be increased compared to the prior art, it is proposed that in a preform body comprising or containing a lithium silicate glass ceramic with a geometry that corresponds to the form body a surface compressive stress is created by replacement of lithium ions with alkali ions of greater diameter, wherein after substitution of the ions the preform body is used as the form body.
