摘要: A technical problem of the present invention is to provide a condensed polycyclic organic pigment having excellent dispersion properties and dispersion stability. More specifically, the technical problem of the present invention is to provide a condensed polycyclic organic pigment in which a practically sufficient viscosity is achieved in terms of both the initial viscosity of a base ink and the viscosity over time of a base ink when used in the printing ink application. As a result of thorough studies on the surface state of organic pigment particles and interaction among components constituting a printing ink, it has been found that the technical problem can be solved by using a polyvalent metal inorganic salt in a condensed polycyclic organic pigment, thus accomplishing the present invention.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a pigment composition that is suitable as an IJ ink and has high dispersion stability and excellent storage stability, a coloring agent containing the pigment composition, and, in particular, an IJ ink. The pigment composition of the present invention contains a quinacridone pigment and a compound represented by formula (I) below. In formula (I), n represents an integer of 1 to 8. At least C.I. Pigment Red 122 is preferably contained as the quinacridone pigment.

摘要: Provided is an organic pigment composition for color filters, which can be used preferably for a color filter that allows to produce a liquid crystal display device which has excellent heat resistance, a brighter display screen, and accordingly higher brightness; a method for producing the same; and a color filter which includes the organic pigment composition for color filters. The color filter has higher heat resistance by using the organic pigment composition for color filters which includes a phthalocyanine pigment and a pigment derivative in which the ratio of a multi-substituted phthalimide alkyl group to the whole amount of the pigment derivative is limited.

摘要: An object that is to be achieved by the present invention is to provide an azo pigment having excellent transparency, suitable dispersibility, and a low viscosity, an ink, and the like. An azo pigment according to the present invention has a zeta potential of −80 to −30 mV in isopropanol (IPA). The content of a metal element in the azo pigment is preferably 0.05 to 2.00 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the azo pigment. The metal element is preferably an iron element. The ratio (Fe/C) of the concentration Fe (atomic %) of an iron element in the surfaces of particles of the azo pigment to the concentration C (atomic %) of a carbon element in the surfaces of the particles of the azo pigment which are determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy is preferably 0.20 or less.
